I enjoy being very physically active but also need a fair bit of down time such as relaxing on the couch and watching a good movie. I can be a little shy, and I enjoy small house parties with good friends. I am passionate about being active in physical activities, for example, motorcycle racing over the last few years was what I lived for, but lately I just go to the track once in a while for fun and laughter with good friends. This year is turning into the year of hiking and running with my young golden retriever and often a friend who I can barely keep up with (don’t tell him that, he thinks I’m really fit lol). I’ve lived in the Caribbean and traveled a fair bit and I still enjoy traveling but I’ve learned that you don’t have to leave the Maritimes to find interesting adventures. I enjoy giving and tend to look at the world as one community and that as poor as we often think things are around Nova Scotia, we are so lucky to have the great living standards and opportunities that we do. I am proud of the 10 days I spent in Hungary with Habitat for Humanity building houses.
