For instance, I train in a rare martial art and to continue training, for the past five years I've traveled between an hour and a half and 3 hours to attend my class. I've slept on couches and floors all to continue my study. I've worked, done school, been married and divorced and still, I trained. Some people I know call that determined and dedicated. Others call it foolish and stubborn. But when something is important to you, you have to go for it.
I have two programming diplomas, just got my bachelors in information systems, currently finishing my BA in Psych and I hope to do a master's of counseling. Other life goals include getting an instructors level certificate in yoga and a personal trainers certificate. I believe education should be a life long process. There is always something to learn and experience. This may seem random but my goal, eventually, is to run my own martial art / fitness studio and each of those certifications will be of use. In the mean time, I work at what I can to learn how business operates.
So with all of that, I guess my biggest flaw (yes, I'm going to admit it) is that I find it hard to just relax and have some fun. Right now it seems I go until I pass out. Balance is a goal not easy achieved. Maybe someone can help me learn??
