Honestly I live a satisfied life with the exception of not being in a long-term relationship ... yeah, I'm alone, but I want to make it a priority and effort to meet the elusive Ms. Right by expanding my network of friends. Are you her?
I'm grateful for having a solid education; a fulfilling career as a Catholic high school teacher; and good health. Of course, many of these things would be meaningless if I didn't surround myself with a supportive circle of family and friends. From them, I'm described as being that "good" guy and friend that they can count on: dependable; charitable with time; polite; personable; and grounded in strong moral values. These are the things I value in life too.
Of course I'm looking for a "good" girl, someone that I can spend my life with to expore and share new experiences with, and adore; and not just a short-term fling. This includes working out together, and helping out charitable causes when we can in the community. Most likely this person I'm desiring is someone who shares same career as I do, but maybe you could prove me wrong. I just figure dating someone who is a teacher can be mutually rewarding and supportive ... similar experiences, both joys and challenges; similar work schedules and holidays where we can do some traveling together. Ultimately, Ms. Right is someone that I would take a "sick" day for to spend time with :)

I am currently in school and will be completing my education this December. Working and going to school has been a challenge but I am not one to run from a challenge. It keeps me busy but I always have time for my friends and family.
I've outgrown the clubbing scene. I enjoy going to places where I can hear you without you having to scream over the music.
I love singing in the car but only in the winter when it's fairly dark when I have to drive to and from work so no one can see that I'm really belting it out All By Myself. My sense of humour is really dry too.
I've been renovating my basement with the intent of living down there. I'm very proud of the general contracting skills that I've learned so far and I can't wait to learn more. I like learning new things that get my hands a little dirty.
I'm absolutely terrified of spiders and most creepy crawlers. Not in the regular girly way either. This is a true blue fear. I've been bitten by them many times and they are also trying to kill me.
I hate romance movies unless absolutely nothing else is on to watch. I like movies like The Godfather and Jesus Christ Superstar. I like Indiana Jones, The Breakfast Club, and most importantly, The Princess Bride. Steven Segal movies are great comedies in my opinion. I'll be honest...I'm a TV snob. The only thing I can really watch on TV is stand-up comedy. I'll watch TV shows but after a few episodes I get bored.
I don't know what else to tell you about myself. I'm not a very complicated person. I like good food, good wine, good friends, good family, good books, good movies, good coffee, good conversation.
I'm not a religious person but I do believe in God and I try to thank him for everything that I am blessed with. Except spiders. When I get to heaven I'm going to have a word with God about those uglies. He must have taken the day off and the person he left in charge was hung over or something. That's the only thing I can think of when it comes to why spiders exist.

I am an ambitious, down-to-earth and a fun loving person. I work hard but I make it a point to play hard as well. I enjoy the simple things and they are the things that make me happiest.
