Date men and women from Canada / Nova Scotia / Sherbrooke, 35 year old

Date men and women from Sherbrooke, Canada. I'm single and looking for someone. I'm independent, driven and know what I want. Confident, it won't be in a bar, I am looking for someone that feels free to express themselves, and enjoys travel and exploring.
My favorite animal is probably the elephant, confident in its movement, incredibly hard to stop, slow to anger.

Meet single man from Sherbrooke, Canada. I'm a quiet sort of guy who love learning and discovering new things. I'm looking for someone to become friends with and who is interested in the same activities as I. When I'm not working, I usually spend my time watching movies, reading, doing crossword puzzles, cooking or working out. I also love hiking and camping and hope that I can meet someone who enjoys the outdoors.

Date a man from Sherbrooke, Canada. Okay, let's try to make this short and sweet, and as honest as possible. To a certain extent, I guess I could be considered a "man's man": I can build or fix just about anything. I like to eat good (healthy) food, but I don't like to cook. I drive a 4x4. I have an ATV. I do my own oil changes. Sometimes I wear plaid shirts. Both my jobs are in the firefighting industry. But to the same extent, I think that I don't necessarily fit into the country boy stereotype: I'm not into playing or watching team sports. I don't hunt (I'd rather shoot something with a camera than with a gun). Not only does my dog sleep in the house, she sleeps on the bed. I can compose this description using punctuation, complete words and without spellcheck. I'm just as comfortable in a suit and tie (or uniform) as in jeans and a t-shirt.
I'm here mostly out of curiousity to see if the internet could actually bring something (or someone) interesting and fun into my life, instead of just being a means to recieve messages telling me that I should be using Viagra! I'm looking for someone who would like to enjoy the simple things in life with me: watching the fireflies on a warm summer evening, BBQs on the deck, going for a drive to nowhere on a Sunday afternoon, being outside with an early cup on coffee while listening to the birds, relaxing with a movie after a day of skiing. I'm past the point of wanting to spend time in clubs...I worked in one for years and my interest in staying out until 3:00 am has expired. I'm more of the resto-pub / terrasse kind of guy. Plus, the fact that I am an on-call firefighter means I never know when I might get paged out, so I rarely have more than a beer at a time.
Wow, this is longer than I planned! If I haved piqued your curiousity...feel free to say Hi! Stay safe!
