I enjoy cooking and have started experimenting with Thai food as I have learned that a human being cannot survive on red meat every day. Aside from my diet coke addiction I try to eat healthy.
Music is a passion of mine. I have played the piano since I was 5 years old and I have been teaching myself the bass guitar for a little while now. My musical taste varies depending on my mood. A great song still sends chills through me! I would love to find that special someone to play for!!
When I go out I generally like to pick places with live music, great food or a comfortable atmosphere. I love patios in the summer time!
I go to the gym at least a few times a week. I am not fitness obsessed but enjoy being healthy. I play hockey and squash in the winter and play baseball and coach soccer in the summer.
I have 2 daughters aged 7 and 5 that keep me on the run to say the least, however, I do have a lot of free time.
My divorce, I am proud to say, went as well as it could and my ex and I have parted ways as friends. We have moved forward with our lives, seperately, with kindness and maturity. We respect each other as parents and have worked very hard to maintain a friendly relationship for the sake of the children and ourselves. I volunteer this in my profile because I find that it is always one of the first questions I am asked.

My oldest daughter goes through phases where she likes and dislikes my goatee so I find myself shaving or growing it on a weekly to monthly basis.

Meet single man from Canada. I'm a shy, respectful and caring man. I'm not the type to judge, as I've learned a while ago that you can't assume anything about anyone until you've walked a mile in their shoes.
I don't like labels and I certainly do not fit in any group whatsoever. I sometimes associate with geeks, but lack the unbelievable knowledge they often share with me. I sometimes go practice a sport for hours, yet I know next to nothing about baseball, football or hockey. I like most types of arts, yet, I have no artistic skill myself. Oh well, at least I know how to appreciate it!
I practice sports as often as possible. I like to paddle (dragonboat, standup paddleboard, canoe), row (sculling) and swim (the bigger the surface, the better). I also like skating (ice or inline), biking, walking, hiking or trekking.
BTW, if you hate being left out during fishing, hunting, hockey, baseball, football seasons, well that won't happen with me! You'll never catch me watching sports on TV, except maybe the Olympics.
Speaking of TV, I used to watch it, but I currently see no need for it. That leaves more time for my other interests!
I should mention that I'm a vegetarian (not vegan) and I'm still learning how to combine my meals properly. I can behave and respect a given meal at a friend's place, but otherwise, I stick to my vegetarian diet as much as I can.
My native language is French, but I'm fluent in English too. Feel free to communicate with me in either language.

I like to open the car door for you, send flowers for no reason and I like go for a walks in the morning to start my day and a walk after a long day to unwind and its a great time to chat and connect, I enjoy going to movies and really would like to see more bands and live shows. I can sit quietly with a glass of wine on the weekend or a coffee and listen. I like to try new foods and experience new things. and I'm good with rolling around on the floor with the kids.

Recently single (depending when you're reading this) and figured this is a great way to meet new people.
I'm an open honest and easy going guy (don't mistake easy going for being a pushover.. ) who gets along with just about everybody. I don't take life very seriously sometimes but I'm pretty serious about relationships when I'm in them. I don't 'need' another person to be happy (I like me.. lots) but all else being equal I'd rather do things with somone I enjoy spending time with and care about.
I'm an avid golfer and it would be great to find a partner who enjoys the game (or at least understands my passion for it). I enjoy going to the gym (thank goodness its in the condo I live in though) and staying in shape and again would value this in a partner as it can take up a fair bit of time.
Sounds cliche but I live to work.. not work to live.. thinking about a career change but who knows ? The job pays the bills and I'll be the first to admit I worry more about my free time more than my 9 to 5. That being said I've been with people who are more career driven and I'm perfectly capable of being supportive of someone like that.
Basically I'm pretty happy to accept people for who they are and what they like to do and really just want to be liked for the same reasons (again with the cliches but like me the way I am.. don't try and change me... unless I ask for help of course... lol)
