Meet a soulmate from Ajax, Canada. So everyone is on here for different reasons. Some people are on here to find friends, others to find their life partner, and others just for fun. I don't really know why I'm on here but I'll tell you how I ended up here.
In October of 2011 I moved back to Canada after spending 9 years in Asia. In January of 2012 I broke up with my girlfriend who I thought I would end up marrying, long distance killed the relationship. I thought she was the one but obviously I was wrong. I work for a pharmaceutical company but my real passion is a little company I started while I was in Singapore. Since I've been back in Canada I spend every free minute I have trying to get my company off the ground. I don't have time for friends and a typical day for me consists of waking up at 5am and working on my own thing until 6am then I get ready for work and spend 7:30am to 4:00pm doing my day job, by 4:30pm I'm back home and work on my own thing again until 12:00am, I sleep for 5 hours then rinse and repeat. So what could possibly be so exciting that I would sacrifice any type of social life and sleep? The company I started is called www.medisherpa.com and it's a medical travel portal, I received some funding from the Singapore government and the only thing missing now is taking it mainstream, if you think it's a stupid idea you can tell me, I appreciate straight shooters. If anyone has ever taken an idea in their head and brought it to life you know how consumed in it you can get, and the more you work on it the harder it is to simply quit because of everything you have put into it and everything you have sacrificed for it.
So I wasn't always like this, in Singapore I had a boat load of friends and a very active social life, to the point where I was going out maybe 5 nights a week but now I realize that never really got me anywhere and the only thing it accomplished was burning a hole in my wallet the size of the grand canyon, I was also doing Muay Thai and Boxing twice a day every day, but all that stopped when I came back to Canada. Now it's 100% get this company off the ground or die trying. When I need to de-stress I sit on my balcony and stare at the lake, maybe one day I'll get off my lazy ass and actually learn how to sail one of those little boats I always see on the water.
I love to travel, LOVE it. I'm not into five star resorts or all inclusive type deals, I like to go off the beaten path and I like to see and experience things the way locals do. I'm a beach bum at heart. One day, hopefully not too far in the future I will take a year off just to travel and see the world. I've seen a good chunk of it but there's still an even bigger chunk of it left to explore.
I'm fluent in Spanish and speak a little French, I have a Masters degree in Knowledge Management and I'm addicted to the web, I don't watch TV I just consume all my content online. I love animals, I'm crazy about my sisters french bull dog and I love birds and fish and reptiles.
If you look at my photos you'll see I'm a person of extremes, I'm either straight cut and clean shaven for work or long haired scruffy looking while backpacking.
I'm not religious but I have a weird fascination with meditation and buddhism.
So what am I looking for? I'm naturally attracted to blondes but the color of your hair is not nearly as important as your personality and how you see the world. You must be able to pry me from my work, and that means you have to be outgoing, bubbly, energetic, funny, passionate, and love adventure. I don't like materialistic or narcissistic people, doing something for someone else is much more rewarding than doing something for yourself.
I'm not shy but I'm not outgoing, I'm not eccentric but I'm not your run of the mill guy either. If you've made it this far and aren't bored yet then might as well drop me a message and say what's up.
