I have lived a pretty normal fun life for the most part. I love anything outdoors especially in the warmer months, from a patio, backyard bbq's, cottages, boating...to walks, biking, occasional golf...and I've enjoyed beach volleyball though playing with a beer in my hand, lol. I still like amusement parks and those crazy rides. There is still so much which I would like to experience. I also enjoy my time at home, a bottle of wine, music and fun conversation. Waking up on a sunny morning and planning the day together...the simple pleasures are most fulfilling if with the right person.
In the winter months I used to ski a little, downhill and cross country and loved the trails and snow covered trees. I haven't hit the slopes in many years, but you never know. As for travel, I have been to many places in Canada, the US and the Caribbean, and would love to explore and see more, perhaps with you.
I am attracted to a woman who tries to stay in shape and takes care of her appearance and lifestyle. Being a man, I appreciate "feminine"...a glam girl, yet down to earth and comfortable in her jeans. A real girl. I also like simple but nice...someone who enjoys looking good, but is humble and not needing attention. A real girl, lol. It's not how you dress, it's how you carry yourself. Nothing better than a woman playing with her varied wardrobe, from classy to casual to sporty, down to soft pajamas.
As far as conversation, I am interested in going deeper and discovering the real you, as I find that people can be very interesting when they open up. Talkative, positive, and emotionally normal would be nice, though what is "normal", lol. I'm a good listener so lets talk. I'm not interested in anyone's possessions, just in your company and friendship...and perhaps love. Relationships are all about communication. Friendship is also something I don't take for granted, and hope to develop with quality people. I love to laugh and even get silly at times...laughter doesn't always come from jokes, it comes from happiness. I'm ready to laugh more.
So many ladies here with great careers and lifestyles. My line of work does not define who I am, though I am a hard worker and good at what I do. My occupation should only matter to you if you see me as a life mate. I am a regular guy who enjoys looking healthy and feeling good. I drive a regular car, and don't pretend to be someone I am not. I like wearing jeans and like to dress well, but I'm not a suit guy, though I'm not afraid of change...I am not set in my ways...it's important to be able to adapt when building a relationship. I'm a strong person, yet I understand my limitations. It doesn't bother me at all if the woman in my life has a fabulous career or a busy job she loves. It's who you are as a person, how we spend our time, and how we complement one another that matters to me.
I am emotionally available for a new relationship, but I still have separation things to resolve. Women are wrongfully afraid that I may stay with my ex. I am aware of my situation, and of your fears, but I can only appease and convince you so much. I am no longer part of a "couple" but if you live by strict rules of dating, then we may not work out, as we have to bend those rules somewhat. My ex is still living in my home for a time...until she moves out. Sucks for me!

I don't know what's in store for you, me, us....if anything....we may just be here to help each other until we find our "long term life partners" ...I don't know...what I do know is I want my next relationship the be the last.....the "ONE"....I am not going to ignore any flags, and I am not going to jump into anything too quickly...I know who Steve is now and I like him...I know what I want now, and I know I will get it...I know where I want to go and I know I will get there....but I also know now that the journey is the most important thing, and I know how to enjoy it now....if I don't get exactly where I thought I was going...I can just adjust the steering wheel...get re-aligned...and keep persevering....the great part about any work I may do on myself is that my homework is just being me...just being happy...living in "the NOW".....just looking around and seeing what I can do to help others and the world in general..."giving" is the "cause"....and joy and happiness is the "effect"...How can I serve the world?...without expecting anything in return...even if it means just smiling at every person I see on a Monday morning...it's so great to see someone who looks a little down or grumpy or stressed, crack a smile....knowing that for even a few seconds they forgot about their troubles...
