I have a passion for family (I have raised my daughter essentially on my own for 8 years and the mission is now complete), and travel (Italy - I go every year....and I am not Italian, France, England, Ireland, Scotland, Mexico, Bahamas, Haiti, Jamaica, the Dominican, 50 states, and every province and territory except Newfoundland, but I love a great road trip as well).
I believe that there are six things in life which should be savoured....the English language and the art of conversation, food, music, movies, baseball, and physical intimacy (kissing, hugging, holding hands and the really good stuff) .
My grandfather told me the wrapping of a present is nice but what's inside is called "the gift". With that said I am still looking for the lady's profile that reads "seeking man with 140 IQ".....most read TALL, funny and athletic. I'm not tall. I'm quite funny, but not Robin Williams funny. I used to play professional lacrosse but that seems like a previous life. I do have a social schedule that few ladies have been able to handle. I like to be busy. Then there's the "chemistry thing". CH4 and O2 = CO2 and H2O....that's chemistry. My grandfather also said "There are two kinds of love. There is 'because love'....I love you because......and there is 'in spite of' love....I love you in spite of....the second kind is what a true relationship is built on". Chemistry, to me, is "because love". One of the best qualities is being non-judgemental....and "chemistry" is often about making a personal judgement quickly without a whole lot of information.
So other than being intelligent, the world's greatest Dad, and well traveled I am also the consummate gentleman, thanks to my father, and a really, really good kisser and hugger. I also go to the gym everyday....but I don't enjoy it. I guess that also makes me honest...not everyone is....and shows that I have a strong sense of commitment......not everyone does.
The "special one" is communicative and self aware. This is crucial and the only "requirement". No age, height, body type, hair colour, religious, ethnicity, political affiliation, love of a specific pet, sport, or activity, allergies, or shoe size requirements unlike so many other profiles. .

Socially extraverted, the life of the party, funny and whitty, yet privately I am introverted, reflective and downright boaring ( ok maybe thats somewhat harsh)
I have excelled in my career and still on a path for continued growth yet still have no idea what i should really be doing with my professional life.
Separated with grown happy educated kids, love them, yet don't know if I did a good job of raising them although all indications suggest that i did a fantastic job.
financially stable and successful, have all the trappings typically associated with success yet, I would give it all up tomorrow if only I could find "the answer" to happiness.
Spiritually bankrupt, religion is a bust, but at least it is fair to say that I am searching.
For fun , I struggle at golf but love the game, Cycling is a passion, something about man and the 2-wheel maching that makes me smile. Workout regularly. And for reflective fun, I love to write poems and short stories...my real passion. Secretely, I would really like to try triathalons but don't have the guts to give it a shot...thats a secret so don't tell anyone!

I enjoy spending time with my 2 kids. They also keep me busy. I have a lot of friends through my sports and they are very important to me. I'm probably the worse fisherman in the world, but do enjoy being out on the water.
I'm somewhat a spontaneous person and like to do things on the spur of the moment. I love to laugh and make others laugh as well. Hopefully, you are one of those individuals that are like me. However, I do like my quiet time with that someone special.
I don't like serious people who put pressure on themselves and others. Life is way too short for that crap.
