I think we all come into this world imperfect and that is the way that we go out. I dont demand perfection and dont look for someone who does. Reality is harder than some of the fiction you might read in profiles, and more boring than how we present ourselves in this forum, but believe me, my reality is calm and filled with creative thoughts and pursuits on how to keep things on the plus side of the magic meter. As well, I like down time to recharge, and this is easy for me- I'm simple this way- a nice glass of wine, hearing a loon call on a lake and I am rekindled. I am a very honest person. I am a sensitive, passionate one too-passion is necessary for it all to work and of course how we are together contributes to that!! Chemistry?? A must- you never know until you meet, no matter how anyone looks on paper, a sincere smile can light me up. I dont care how you look, but caring about your appearance and how you might look at me is more important. A look in someones eyes goes much farther than GQ looks and someone can become beautiful to me when saying the right things...I love being and feeling sexy!....ballgames to dinners out!. And a slow dance on a strong shoulder just might put me over the edge.
Posers are not my style and although I sometimes set high standards for myself, it is just too exhausting to focus on yourself (which is why I am not a body builder!) However, we are supposed to describe ourselves and desires here- so here goes...
I am really interested in keeping life interesting- I have a caring family, fun dogs, and I love being outdoors and getting into it! It's hard to write about myself despite those that know me think i'm downright outgoing- I have a sense of humor that plays a daily role - I hope I keep my friends laughing through tears, tension and play-- and yet I thoroughly enjoy quiet times with a book or anything else or a conversation that gets you thinking or one that brings two people closer. Still trying new things. Last year I was talked into being on a competitive reality cooking show- however, don't call me Chef yet. In my spare time I may be cleaning up the novel and submitting it-haha! Also, you should know my friends tell me to include that I like board games and my Uncles will tell you I have a great swing but my putting stinks. Sports of all sorts-yes!- my favorites are golf, tennis, waterskiing, baseball, volleyball, hot yoga and once again I am going to try and better my time in a half marathon in the spring- knees providing. I recently co-coached my sons soccer team.
There is possibly a nerdy bend to me in that I crave intelligent life forms- if I am away from it for too long I search it out. So yes I like museums and galleries and music/ concerts and I like photography and painting and playing the piano (I suck)... but on the other hand I seek adventure for outlets and fun-clean fun...-sorry guys-It's difficult to paint texture here in a paragraph, but this is close, I think.
It's fair to say I prefer someone grounded, loves their family and is experienced at matters of the heart. Foremost, for me, kindness is key. I simply would turn on my nut if I saw you perform an act of kindness. I think making your partner feel good about themselves and having the same done for you is important. I dont like to sweat the small stuff because I can get that with manual labor and exercise- Yes, I am independent, but I need to feel connected-sometimes its only that small touch that makes it worthwhile-- and to have fun with my partner!
