I grew up in the country watching hockey (the Toronto Maple Leafs) on Saturday nights, I know how to throw backyard parties, and I can go from wearing jeans and running shoes with my hair in a ponytail to a pretty black dress!!
I live in Barrie and I work full-time in Toronto with the flexability of working from home 2 days a week. I have an awesome job that allows me to travel, network, and meet a lot of interesting people. I do spend a lot of time working as I am passionate about my career but I also enjoy my time away from the office. I decided that it was time to start or at least try on-line dating as it is very difficult these days to meet guys.
I am a very simple person who enjoys life to its fullest and I am looking for a "match" that is willing to go on a life long journey with me. Meet a woman from Barrie, Canada. I guess the best way I can describe myself is to simply say I am a very simple person who loves peoeple and has been told many times I am a little quirky! I spend most of my time with my nose in a book but that doesnt mean I don't know how to have a good time! The things that make me smile the most is playing anything with my kids. I have 2 amazing young men! Nothing is better then the sound of their laughter! I own my own business and go to school full time and I am a single mom. In my free time I can be found reading, doing yoga, dancing, hanging at the beach (when its hot. I tend to be a bit of hermit in the winter) or enjoying time with some of my closest friends. But itРІР‚в„ўs still hard to describe oneself... i consider myself a pretty typical Canuck girl! My friends would say iРІР‚в„ўm always ready with a hug and a smile, the first to put others at ease, a good listener, a goof ... and yes iРІР‚в„ўm a chatter. IРІР‚в„ўve travelled to amazing places and lived overseas and out west. Both tug at my heartstrings, but iРІР‚в„ўm loving being back in Ontario. At that point where iРІР‚в„ўd like to plant my feet and see what happens. Lucky to have an amazing family and friends. Luv my job-fortunate i know. IРІР‚в„ўm independent and enjoy my РІР‚?meРІР‚в„ў time, but 'too much' is overrated which explains this ramble. Consider myself lucky that i know what it is to be in a great, loving relationship, so i know they exist and wonРІР‚в„ўt settle for less.
Bonus points if you love to travel (near or far), have a desire to explore, are quick to laugh, have a job, love heading to the cottage, or going for a paddle, appreciate British comedy and a Guinness, are ambitious, love kids, can get dirty outside and not worry about ruining your shoes, can spend a night with my friends just hanging out talking nonsense, relax and chat over a long dinner with wine, willing to try foods you can’t pronounce, smile at the silly things in life, be open, warm and patient, teach me something new, be independent but value together time, laugh at yourself, listen to some good blues, can't wait to see me at the end of the day, introduce me to new music and new experiences, enjoy going for Sunday morning breakfast, value honesty and a really good kiss, be spontaneous, yet also understand that inevitably life is sprinkled with boring “to do list” days too–lol.
