Story time:
There was once a beautiful young woman in a small village, who was being wooed by two equally handsome men: one very wealthy, the other poor and humble. For as long as they each wooed her, she could not decide between the two. She knew the rich man could care for her material needs and the poor man was charming and sweet. So decided to put them to the test.
She gave each man a beautiful red rose and tasked each of them to go away from her and care for the rose for one whole month. Whichever suitor cared best for the rose would win her hand in marriage. A month passed and the men returned. The rich man arrogantly presented his rose first: as brilliant and fresh as the day it was cut, it's sweet aroma filling the air. As the embarrassed poor man presented his, the rich man laughed: the rose was wilted, dark and dry, threatening to break as the poor man tenderly set the frail flower on the table.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Like everyone else, it's hard to write about yourself on these sites, as it never does give you a clear picture about who the person is and if there's chemistry. That can only be done via the human way. Meeting in a public place to talk, maybe enjoy an activity, and if all goes well another date. If not, than at least we've met someone new, practised our courting skills, and continue on wit our quest for the right pertner. There's something said about doing it old school:)
Now a bit about me (can't reveal everything in one go:)...
I'm a hard working, down to earth, respectful, responsible, single father (never married) who believes in the idea that hard work and loyalty actually means something, even though it may not apply in today's corporate climate. Needless to say, I'm loyal to a fault with my friends and family, always giving a helping hand when needed. However, I also like to have a good time as well, having adventures, and kidding around. Life is too short to be serious all the time.:) Unfortunately, my 10 yr old son doesn't live with me full-time. But he's my little dude, and when I do have him for every other weekend and holidays; I try to make the most of it being a father, teacher, and friend to him.
Some of the things I like to do is to go out for drives into the country on beautiful days, with the sun roof open, rock music blaring, and going wherever the road may lead. I also enjoy going to the beach, the occassional pub, hiking in the woods, and being in the company of good friends and family. Other things I like to do is playing pool, going to the movies (especially Drive-ins), concerts, playing baseball, soccer with my son, swimming, bike riding, and just chilling out at home with a good film (classic or contemporary) or a good game (especially if it's cold or raining outside). :)
Lastly, I don't know why they have "some college" as a selection for education. I did graduate from college with honours, majoring in Law Enforcement. Although, I've deviated from my original career path I am looking at getting back into it.
About the one I'm looking for...
I appreciate a lady who loves kids (obviously), is down to earth, caring, honest, fun, not into head games, takes good care of herself, and knows what she wants and works hard for it. If the relationship should evolve into something serious great, if not that's ok too.
