As far as unique characteristics; I would have to say that it is my simplicity and care for it. I don't enjoy the drama that has accompanied some relationships, and look for a person who is sincere and genuine. I should clarify that, I see the term drama as that which is merely representative of the real, where are the real is that which is genuine and reconciliatory.
I love critical though, philosophy, poetry and all that has to do with the wonder of humanity's interest about it's place in the world. I love to be around people who are intellectually engaged, and always look to appreciate them by actively listening and taking their wisdom in. A good friend can only be made by genuine and interested communication. The terms of communication have to be equal and well intentioned.
I have published three books, of the which, only two are worth any mention. I am a passionate and attentive individual who desires to create a wonderful future, travel the world, enjoy great books (perhaps write one some day), and always enjoy being able to serve and enjoy great friends and family.
I guess that I should mention something about my physical appearance. I consider myself an average type, and love physical activity and sports to get in shape. People make compliments about my good shape, as I am not a heavy looking guy. I guess that I have always seem myself as a heavier person due to growing up in a very athletic minded family. I can't say that I don't care for a person's aesthetic appearance, but a healthy lifestyle is really what is important.

I am currently a full time student, returning to get a second degree.
I've always been a sports nut. Played a lot of sports when I was younger, now it's all aches and pains and lots of creaky joints. I'll watch just about any sport on tv, except football, basketball and MMA (I'm quite opinionated about this, just ask :P. It doesn't bother me if you watch it, but I won't.)
Stick me in front of a video game and I am a happy camper... I prefer MMORPGs than consoles. If it's in Azeroth or Norrath, I've been there... If you have no clue what I'm talking about, you might want to move along now :) Unless, of course, you want to get sucked in. But, however, if you are a tank, healing is my game, and we should hook up :P
If you've made it this far, you are safe to assume that I'm not a girly girl by any stretch of the imagination. Wardrobe coordination for me is matching my ball cap to what I'm wearing - they are my favorite accessory. Definitely NOT high maintenance.
