"Let me start out by saying, this was my idea, not his! What prompted me to do this has been my continued frustration with women, men, and dating or the decisions women make when choosing men to date. I've been having conversations with a variety of women on this topic-and my findings are very troubling. Not to mention that, when I see men, like one of my brother's less than refined pals, happily married, I think the stars are seriously out of whack. 'C' is every guys guy (talking sports with your dad or guy pals) while being a true ladies man (you'll get flowers). While he'll never be the tallest guy in the room, he will be the one guy who proves chivalry is in fact alive. Although he's a sporty dude (hockey/slo-pitch/the gym) he is one of few athletic types in touch with his artsy side. He's a big concert goer, too (NIN, Jack Johnson, Metric, Soundgarden recently). On the subject of music the boy is a walking encyclopedia of musical trivia knowledge. You'll definitely find an ecclectic playlist on his iPod. His downfall - sorry man, no one's perfect - movies!...or rather I'll say his love of slap-stick comedy. While I've never officially asked I'd bet that, The Three Amigos, Princess Bride, and Caddyshack make his top 10 list. Other useful facts: enjoys a good merlot but he'll also not turn down a pint, works for a rec/fitness company, owns cool digs in the 'burbs (again, not perfect ;) ). Friends...got a whole whack of them - it's one big crazy family. Can someone please explain what's going on? In the mean time I'll continue to be perplexed as to why such a great guy is left hanging'"

I like to get my hands dirty in the garden. I'm trapped in suburbia but I long to escape and have a real vegetable garden. I always grow some flowers and a little bit of vegetables. I have one problem though, my two Shelties are cherry tomato bandits! Their green faces are always a dead giveaway.
I prefer to watch movies in my home and I think older movies are just as good as new ones. "Right turn, Clyde"....anyone? I kick butt in trivial pursuit except for, um....the brown questions! You can count on me for the rest!
I've have taken an interest in my family history in the last few years. Visiting the small towns and seeing where my ancestors lived were highlights of my trips to England the past two years. Yeah, that and having an occasional bitter at the pub.

. My family, and friends are important to me. I try to maintain a balance between family, friends, work and outside interests. I love to race, running or triathlon, biking being my first love (I am learning to love running). . Like everyone else here, I'm not terribly comfortable trying to describe myself but I'll give it a shot. I'm laid-back in nature but not a doormat, funny without being overly sarcastic, intellegent without being arrogant and a fiercly loyal friend. I like all kinds of music...yes, even some country (shhh, don't tell everyone) movies, books, vacations in the sun and...wait for it...sports.
