I gather you've come to have a look around. Well now, what can I tell you about me... I am well traveled. Some might say extremely so. I used to travel the world for work (which might explain why I'm single) but thankfully, these days I don't have to travel unless I want to. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. That part of my career/life was an incredible experience and in many ways, it has shaped me into what you see here. I'm far more tolerant of cultural differences, and I've eaten some really interesting foods along the way. There is nothing more wonderful than eating what the locals eat. As an example, Thai food in Thailand... Fantastic. English pub grub... probably the best food you'll get in the UK apart from the specialty restaurants. French or Indian. (British fare needs help). I shouldn't say that... Scotland was very good.
As you might have guessed by the pictures, one of my passions is flying. I fly for fun, not for work (in case you were thinking that's why I traveled so much. Not so.) I work in Sales and Marketing for a very large multinational tech firm. My career path is set and I really enjoy what I do. I'm not a workaholic though. I prefer to find that perfect balance between work, home-life and fun. Actually, I look for balance in just about every aspect of life.
When not working, I can be a pretty handy guy to have around. I can fix just about anything. I have often taken on major projects that take years to complete. I get a great sense of accomplishment out of the creation and completion process. I've built airplanes from scratch. Yes, more than one and who knows... My next project may very well be to design and build a house.
As for a potential life partner, I do not believe it's of any use trying to define what cannot be defined. Women friends of the past did not conform to a specific set of my rules. They didn't look the same or have a particular personality profile. The best relationship are build on complimentary personalities, not identical ones. Having said that, there were some commonalities which I find attractive in the opposite sex. Height, hair color, eye color are not so important to me. A slim build is. Younger than me. An active mind. Probably university educated. A good heart. A warm soul. Morals akin to your parents. Good communications skills.
I could mention walks on a Bahamian beach, sunsets in Tuscany or coffee on a French sidewalk cafe. I've done all these things, and they are lovely when shared with the right person but let's be realistic. It is the company that is important, not the location or the activity. I hope to find that individual whose company I look forward to. Whose honesty I can rely on. Who relies on me for the same.
