I am proud of what I have accomplished in my career (twenty plus years in Human Resources), although I have been frustrated with the difficulty of finding appropriate work after being laid off over four years ago. While waiting to find something more suitable, I have been working in a series of casual assignments, but have not found that these assignments are meeting my earnings expectations. While I once enjoyed an active social life of concerts, sporting events, theatre, dining out, vacations, etc., I have had to scale back my activities significantly. Having said this, I am continuing to search for employment, and have an expectation that I will eventually find something more suitable. In the meantime, I am active in curling, and am looking forward to renewing my umpiring activities this summer. My two cats bring a lot of pleasure to my life, and I look forward to seeing them every day when I get home.
I am passionate about music. I play guitar and plan to resume my piano training once I find time. I like listening to music and watching movies, and have a large collection of materials for my listening and viewing pleasure. My ideal partner will share these interests.
