I’d like to find a genuine lovely soul that has an inquisitive mind, one who is kind and sensitive to the vibe of our universe - someone to share intellectual conversations or philosophical debates sprinkled with laughter and chemistry.
There is an artistic creative side of me as well as a technical side. So I tend to keep busy. I'm handy with tools, electronics and computers. I like to play the piano once in a while, love thunderstorms, warm rain, sunshine and the fireplace. On the lighter side of things I tend to laugh at myself and those silly little moments in life.
I’m passionate about astronomy, chemistry and how life emerges. I enjoy capturing the often-overlooked tiniest details of nature and scenery on film – I feel that nature is the greatest artist of all time. If you enjoy exploring natural places it would be fun to mutually appreciate lifes’ complexities together. At the same time it would be nice to enjoy viewing the stars through my telescope at night mutually appreciating the infinite possibilities out there.
While spending quality time at home I like reading (books) and learning new things, watching documentaries, syfy, love stories and films of all types. I enjoy fixing things around the house, decorating and creating innovative solutions. All of which would no doubt be better spent with someone special. I enjoy socializing and the odd patio too.
Time has a funny way of creeping up on us it seems. The university-of-life grants us tiny drops of wisdom during our journey. Maybe our perception of reality deepens with each accumulating drop and as a result we tend to mature over time. Although my journey is incomplete, I’ve seen and done a lot of things. Some good and some regretfully not so good.(who hasn't? lol)
I've traveled to other countries, experienced other cultures, married early and divorced, read and studied a lot, did the corporate thing, the band thing, had long hair, short hair, a successful business, did the sports car thing, jet-skied in the ocean, backpacked in a jungle, lost a lot and got some back, had birds and reptiles and little furry buddies, foster-cared wild baby animals … and more.

I've gained a lot from these experiences and as such they've made me a better individual. I can honestly say I'm ready for that special person - to share what I believe is the best chapter of my life.
Although I have a good steady job, success for me is not so much about material gain as it is about how we interact with life all around us. I feel this miracle of life deserves deeper appreciation of its intricate complexities. So I tend to be polite to strangers and kind to all creatures sharing our world.
I've been intentionally single now for several years. Aside from being a little shy at times, one might call it a mission of self-discovery. I have found my inner peace. And if you could see past my imperfections you would be rewarded with a well-mannered gentleman that is fit and looks younger then his age. One that is kind, considerate, and always well spoken of. Thankfully I have lovely parents who raised me to understand family values, loyalty and honesty.
Please note: I currently live in Toronto but prefer countryside to the big city. Where I ultimately choose to relocate will depend on the direction my heart points its' compass. I grew up around Lake Simcoe and have considered returning there or toward Peterborough. To be closer to family I've also considered Cambridge, London, Hamilton, Brantford area's.

Internet dating – who would have guessed?
Not what I thought IРІР‚в„ўd be doing at this point in my life but here I am.
It’s taken me a long time to sign up as I truly believe we should meet that “one and only” when we’re suppose to and not have to �shop’ for them.
Considering how busy we all seem to be these days and with opportunities getting fewer and farther between, this is an option I am now willing to try.
So…here it is.
In a nut shell, I am a young 51 year old single mother of one – he’s grown but not quite �gone’ yet. I had a taste of �empty nesting’ for two school years and figure this will be the last summer my boy will be home. So, I’m enjoying it to the fullest. We have a VERY special relationship which I cherish. He’s a wonderful person and I’m very proud of him.
I lead a simple life. My work is demanding so when I get home at night, I like to relax, sit out on the deck, watch the birds and squirrels as they play, breathe and let the angst of the day melt away.
IРІР‚в„ўm a happy person by nature and am happiest when surrounded by same. I have been lucky enough to enjoy a family cottage for most of my life so I spent my childhood summers on the lake, with boats, fishing, swimming, campfires and the like. ItРІР‚в„ўs a part of my life I will never tire of. I have an appreciation for a pitch black night full of stars which, without light pollution from the city, look as big as saucers in the sky. I am an easy going, low maintenance girl who doesnРІР‚в„ўt need to be impressed with gifts and displays of wealth as I enjoy the simple things life has to offer; a beautiful sunset shared by two, a walk in a garden full of flowers, a patio lunch or picnic. The best things in life are free and they are even better when shared.
I love to cook and am very health conscious. I follow a pretty strict diet and am not into pizza or burgers and fries. I take care of myself physically but would like to do more in the exercise department. That’s coming – summer is here! :)
I love to travel and have done quite a bit. There are many more places I would like to visit. Cuba has been a favourite destination for many years and I enjoy the company of good friends when I go there. I also so enjoy Northern Ontario and will continue to discover its many offerings.
