Scuba Instructor, avid fly fisherman, guide, and traveler, a sometimes surfer, water has always been close in my life.
I've lived and worked in the Caribbean for many years in hospitality, where some of my fondest memories and best friends are from, and whom I like to visit often. Do you like warm weather?
I love to fly fish, especially in the saltwater, blue water or flats, it's something I picked up living in the Islands. I find it such an exacting balance of precision, art, perseverance, and skill. It's truly a battle of stealth and wits.
I'm a doer not a watcher, and would rather do things over watching them on TV. I really enjoy working on projects like my wood boat, which ...I figure will be done sometime , hopefully sooner than later. Are you good behind the wheel of a boat? Or, would you prefer to just ride along as a passenger?
My group of friends is small, but real, which is just fine with me. I love to travel, and have been to many places over the last number of years. Different cultures, food, geography, and new friendships are all good, and are the real rewards of travel in my books. I have no baggage...checked or carry-on. So there you have it. Questions? I'm not interested in the type of person that doesn't believe in having fun. Serious is good, but so is having some fun along the way too. Sometimes it's the journey not the destination that's the memorable part. Life is too short for destinations only.
