I can be extremely nerdy sometimes, I really do love science (which also spawns a love for technology, science fiction and consequently video games). The occasion that I watch movies I usually prefer something out of the ordinary, typically foreign or animated films. Evidently my biggest intellectual pursuit has been to start a degree in astrophysics after 6 years out of high school.
I am also an extremely healthy person. I eat very clean and have spent the last 4 years working as a personal trainer. I've been weight training for over 10 years and have recently started to prepare for my first bodybuilding competition.
I have a slight obsession with cars. I've spent most of my youth and young adulthood building sports cars and enjoying the finished products. I recently finished a complete restoration of my childhood dream car, a task that took nearly 3 years.
You could say that my interests are very well rounded. I'm very intellectual, I have an outdoors-mechanical side to me, and a musical side as well, I love playing the guitar and singing with my nieces.
I am also very fond of good conversation. It helps you establish a deeper connection with someone and I believe that is a very important aspect to any relationship.
The reality is that my social life is not very expansive, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I prefer to have a few very close friends than many acquaintances. I also do not enjoy bars as I don't like battling music to have a conversation. I like playing pool and bowling occasionally, and I do enjoy dancing at a good club to any of my favorite DJs. I have an eclectic love of obscure electronic music genres.

The most important thing to know about me is that I am a nerd and proud of it. My primary area of nerdy interest is Star Trek (big Trekkie) but I’m a fan of a lot of different things (Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, etc).I have a massive DVD collection that is largely science-fiction or comedy.
Current shows I watch on television include The Office, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, The Simpsons, Flashpoint, and Fringe. I also watch The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and Conan.
One thing that’s important to know about me is I’m really a kid at heart (not to say I’m immature). I absolutely love the Muppets. I am a devout fan of Pixar and nearly all of their movies have moved me to tears (ahem...very manly tears)
I enjoy watching sports, primarily hockey and baseball. I am a die-hard fan of both the Leafs and the Jays. I pretty much live and die with every win and loss. I try to get in/stay in shape and I play road hockey every once and a while (depending on whether or not my friends get a game together).
I’ve also got a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. Wanted to mention that at some point. I currently work part-time as marketing support for a telecom company.
