Date a soulmate from Ontario, Canada. I'm a recently separated, 48 year YOUNG guy. After 23 years of marriage, I now find myself in a world very different than what I had expected at this point in my life. And while I may be alone, I don't consider myself lonely...I just lack someone special.
I lead a very simple, down to earth lifestyle. I work, I own a house, I have a 20 year old son in University, and I have a dog. I love running (ran my first marathon in 2011) and am very fitness oriented, but I'm not a fanatic about it, nor do I expect others to do what I do. I'm a great talker (once we get started!) and even better listener. I love to cook just as much as I love to dine out. I'd love to meet someone who could be relaxed just sitting on my deck engrossed in conversation about your day while enjoying a couple of drinks. Or heading out for a nice dinner and then home to pop in a movie afterwards.
I like traveling, weekends away and camping and would love to share these (and new) experiences with someone. I'm not a club or bar person. Its no fun being in an environment so loud that you have to yell at the person next to you in order to maintain a conversation. Small, intimate music venues are great. Or even a comedy club!
I'm hoping that the woman I meet is easy going, witty, smart, independent and resourceful. A good, sarcastic sense of humor is a definite asset! While I'm not hung up on body type or size, I'd like you to be in somewhat decent physical shape. If you don't workout at a gym, or run, or do YOGA I don't really care. If you feel good about yourself physically that's what matters.
Most importantly...I'm a non-smoker and I'd really prefer you to be a non-smoker also.
