I stay active, by running, hiking, skiing, paddling, snow shoeing, and more. I am not a workout junkie and believe that stopping to smell the roses is just as important. A healthy diet, and healthy attitude gets me through my day.
My work is important, and taking on a second career is challenging and rewarding, however, I do like my time off and look forward to retirement soon.
I am not a bar scene enthusiast, those days have past. But I do enjoy dancing under the stars, cooking for friends, a good bonfire, or a quiet night at home putzing and hanging out with my dog...I think it's all about balance and simplicity. Although I do enjoy the finer things in life, I do try to keep it simple. I don't let little things bother me, and I don't worry about the past. Drama is not enjoyable for anyone, and communication keeps the lines open.
