I was born in Europe, and came to Canada when I was two, but was raised in a very European household. I've always been interested in history and other cultures.
I love my job, and wouldn't do anything else, even though there are times when it's incredibly stressful. Every day is a new adventure, everyone has a story to tell.
My sense of humour is my greatest attribute. I love to laugh and make people around me laugh. If I can make you smile once and make your day better, I've done my job! :) I think I can see the humour in any situation.
I'm a good-hearted, truly nice person. I still believe that chivalry is not dead, was raised to always be a gentleman, and refuse to believe romance is a thing of the past. I enjoy a glass of good red wine now and again. I am a hockey fan (Go Flyers!), as well as soccer (I'm European, it's genetic). I like to think I'm comfortable in any situation, from sitting in a pub chatting, to discussing world issues at a dinner party, to just talking about life's mysteries over a candlit dinner.
I am an avid reader, mostly non-fiction (I'm a huge history buff), and anything from Shakespeare to Bronte to Poe to Stephen King. I have a wide range of movies that I enjoy, from A Streetcar Named Desire and the Seventh Seal to Aliens and anything with Arnie. I enjoy all types of music, especially from the homeland. I am an avid video gamer and board game player, everything from Monopoly to historical games.

I have been out of the dating game so to speak for 10 years and now find myself separated and wanting to feel alive again. I am someone that does like to meet new people even if I am shy at first. I enjoy a good conversation as well as a good sense of humour. I feel that when someone laughs and they smile the whole room lights up. I love to play golf and poker. Watching a good movie at home is just as good as going out.
