I have read so many typical and generic profiles so here goes a different approach.
I guess the best way to describe me is "city/country girl." Its FUN to be both! I was prairie raised and thru my career choice I ended up in the big city. I grew up a tomboy but wound up a lady and I am still puzzled about how that happened!!! I DO love big city culture and diversity. In all my travels though the cottage is still my favorite place in the world. Most of all I enjoy down to earth pleasures and people. I'm no stranger to hard work but have learned to slow down. I'm no stranger to tools either and pretty techno savvy for a girl:)
How about you???
I like driving anything from cars (especially stick) to go-carts to PWC and even motorbikes when I was a kid. Apparently, I also drive my kids crazy acting either to "mom" like or too "kid" like! Even so, I am completely in love and dedicated to them and I learn from them everyday. I have only part time freedom at the moment, which is just fine by me.
How do you like your freedom?
I put my creativity and humour to use every day. It's essential to my survival. I try to listen real hard too.
How do you survive?
I come alive when I SEE beauty and it is EVERYWHERE I look (even in the most unexpected places) I like to "gather" it mostly in pictures, found objects, etc. Quality and authenticity is key to my work, my sensibilities and my relationships. I love cracking up a friend (if I can get the punch line out before "losing" it or giggling at anyone's jokes or kookiness. Learning the easy or the hard way, finding the silver lining, writing and being written to…. and most of all ....random acts of kindness.. The best feeling I know…... well almost.
What makes you come alive?
Running shoes or high heels??? Got lots of both! Jeans and dresses? Lots of them too.
For me, my style is a natural way of life… kinda like breathing.

My curious nature and energetic spirit get me out of my box sometimes.
My activities this past year have ranged from: hiking in Sedona to art classes, snorkelling to opera, volunteering to travelling. Just tried Tabata ... Ouch!
Next on the list: paddle boarding, new recipes, riding roller coasters and horses , photo and art projects, karaoke, NYC, Newfoundland and Saskatchewan and doing nothing but loafing....
I value: openness, ease, honesty, courage, brevity, manners, kindness, affection, humour, generosity, humility, responsibility and equanimity.
I do believe it's better to take care of our relationships and allow people to take care of themselves ......this way we all stay grown ups.

Well, I hope you are so comfortable with yourself and where "you are" that where "I am" is OK with you.
I don't really need taking care of .....it would be nice to be treasured though.
What I do need is respectful attention, romance, connection, friendship, chemistry and fun when we can squeeze it all in between our obligations!!!

Meet a woman from Ontario, Canada. I have a great deal to be thankful for. I have wonderful friends and family. My career, now finishing 23 years , was a dream that I had when I was a teenager. I still feel as fortunate to be doing what IРІР‚в„ўm doing now as I did on my very first day.
I enjoy good health and believe in keeping physically fit. I work out at a fitness center 3-4 times a week, play competitive volleyball and love to play a variety of sports and go on long walks. I do not smoke nor do I drink alcohol.
Aside from fitness, much of my free time has been spent travelling. I have been to the United States, several countries in Europe and Asia, England, Scotland, and Ireland as well as many parts of Canada. Seven years ago I took a year off from work to do some more travelling. I spent two months of that time in Shenzhen, China volunteering. The experience was incredible.
Taking part in the cityРІР‚в„ўs various festivities is something I also enjoy. Summerlicious and winterlicous, the film fest, theatre productions and sporting events are all things I do every year.
I am looking for someone I can play sports with and who is interested in exploring the variety of events offered throughout the city with me. It would be great to find someone who loves to travel and can share my appreciation for how beautiful our world is.
