I want to meet someone that is ready to start a life with a family and good times. You don't have to have great direction but a simple desire to get on with it and reap the joys of being in a great relationship sounds good to me. I am a good person with a warm heart, and ready to explore the possibility of finding something real on this site. I have a day job that does pay the rent, but does not fill my soul. For that, I pursue a variety of other activities, including comedy, blogging, entry level karate. I can't say I am a natural exerciser, but am working at it. Food is a significant passion of mine whether its shopping for, cooking, eating, etc. I am no minimalist and tend to overbuy, but I have a great time doing so.
My hopes are to find a someone who is well matched in complementary way, the salt to my pepper if you will. While I'm not looking for the male version of myself, I'm not looking for a complete clash i.e. I'm high energy, you'd rather be napping than interacting more often than not. I do follow and am mildly involved in politics, essentially a social democrat at heart. Where to begin. I'm a single mom of an eight year old. Let's just start with that first and see if you would like to venture further into my territory ( I hope so). I love to laugh. I think it keeps us all younger for sure. If I'm feeling down I like to throw on a good comedy or something to make my cheeks hurt from smiling.
I've just finished up a course in medical office administration. I've always worked in an office but decided to branch off into the medical side of things. I'm proud that I've met my goals with very good grades to boot!
I'm not really sure if I'd say I have a type. I suppose attractive can mean many things. It's really the whole package that makes somebody attractive, and you have to have chemistry for sure. You can almost always tell by the first date if there is any chemistry there.
I haven't had an overly active social life as of late. Which is probably what brings me here. I've done the online thing before and was happy with the results. Since I'm feeling 100% ready again, I'm willing to give it another shot.
