Date a soulmate from Ontario, Canada. If someone had told me a few years ago that I would be on a site like this I would have fallen out of my chair laughing at them. Things do change, don't they? It's difficult to even think about describing yourself, let alone discussing yourself and actually putting it into writing, but here goes my feeble attempt.
My daughter is the inspiration in my life right now, and although she doesn't live here, we have a totally open and honest relationship, are very close, and communicate regularly. She has called me a rock, her hero, and the most honourable man she knows.
My ex father in law once said about me - what you see is what you get, and friends would say I'm honest, loyal and hard working.
I do not play games with people’s emotions or their lives, but would rather care for and help those that deserve it.
Always be positive - your glass should be more than half full. How do you interpret "opportunityisnowhere"? Search for the bright side of every situation - you will always find one. Be thankful for and value your good health - no amount of money, or even happiness, can buy it.
There are three w's that I strive not to allow to adversely affect my life - watches, weather and women - not necessarily in that order. Some consider me excessively neat and tidy - to each their own.
I am very content living alone and much enjoy the peace and quiet and the freedom. It would sometimes, however, be nice to have someone to take a trip with, go to dinner or an event with, or just to talk to. New friends are great, and one never knows what relationships may develop.
