A very important thing to me is my log cabin/cottage in Northern Ontario which I am currently renovating. It was built by my parents and has a lot of family heritage and sentiment. I love the peace and solitude of the area, with clean air and water, loons, fishing, water sports and beautiful starry nights. In contrast to the tranquility there is a robust social network and great friends there. I could make this my permanent residence down the line. The lake is long and narrow and very suitable for all kinds of boating, watersports and float airplanes.
That said, I can see myself as a "snowbird". Northern ON in the summer, somewhere warmer through the winter.
Even now that working is not part of my schedule I have a busy lifestyle. I am learning the craft of woodturning as I have the benefit of a well equipped wood working shop and supportive woodturning colleagues. I am a member of two clubs and serve on the executive of one of the clubs. For fitness I work out at the gym or run 3 times a week.
In terms of a man in my life I could be compatible with someone who likes an active and productive life with room for adventure. I love to travel and would be a great travel companion for you.
