More important than what your going to find after this sentence isthe following - - - what is it that my future partner is seeking - - - - as with everything in life there has to be compromises if one wants to build a successful relationship. I am seeking that someone special who is loyal, romantic, loving, who wants to receive as well as give while we continue life's journey. Together bring out the best in each other and sharing the ups and downs as we move forward. Someone who has got my back covered as I will have automatically have for them. Someone who believes as I do that if your not a priority in your partners life your only an option. On balance extremely grateful for what life has presented to me to this stage of the journey and soooooo exicited about the next stage. Someone who is relaxed on a walk in the park, hiking etc or at the opera or a classical concert. Being and architect I believe we have to be always growing whether its in design or other aspects of our lives. I'm really exicited about the next stage of my life and the change I know thats coming. Family are a big part of my life and if you have kids I will treat them as if they were my own, always being aware that they have a father - - - they would receive the same love as I would give my own. Having worked on three continents I am looking forward to travelling to many new placesof your choice and some of the 'old haunts again'. Enough for now I need to leave something for us to talk about later. This year I shall be hiking in Africa not that my vacations consist of hiking as I like to explore the 'little stores', restaurants where the locals go abroad and at home - - - equally I like to l spend some time on the beaches (there's that ying and yang again).

I take a lot of the teachings of the church metaphorically and find some value in most traditions. You don't have to be religious, but if you're a committed atheist, I don't think we'll be on the same wavelength.
I'm a high school teacher, published author and composer - creativity is a passion. You don't have to share that interest, but if you don't understand the impulse, I doubt that you would find me appealling.

Not to be negative, but to be honest - see above - I enjoy the odd meal out, but not often: I make decent money, but I'd rather pay off the house a little faster than pay other people's rent and salaries to cook for and wait on me. Same with travel - I like it, but it's not a passion. I like to be active - it feels good and it's good for the health - but I have zero interest in watching sports, and I'm not terribly good at playing tennis, baseball, etc., and other activities that involve a ball coming at me fast.
I'm not perfect. I make mistakes, sometimes big ones, but I always learn from them and come out of them a better person.
