If I had to describe myself, I'd say I'm a passionate, fun, sexy, and caring woman....Confident yet at the same time modest, tolerant, thankful...a person who lives life joyfully and who refuses to waste precious energy on the negative but instead turns it into something positive to be learned from.
I have a lot of interests and hobbies but must say that outside of my job, music is first in line. I love it and found myself reunited with my trombone 4 years ago. Since that time, I have played in two concert bands and several swing/ big bands.
I love to listen to all types of music however, I'd say I'm a classic rock girl if I had to choose. I'm not the girl who goes out to clubs with a girlfriend and stands sipping a drink at the bar scoping the place out. I'm the one at the table with a bunch of friends- celebrating a birthday or seeing a friend's band play...laughing, dancing together and always leaving at the end of the night having made some new friends.
I enjoy the outdoors...gardening, camping, sitting on the dock at a cottage or in front of a fireplace with good friends.
I'm just as much a tomboy who enjoys conversing with the boys at the pub as I am a girl who enjoys all things feminine and sexy.
I wouldn't consider myself athletic, although I am fit :) The extent of my activity appears to be walking outdoors or at the gym on the treadmill and I don't watch much t.v. Although I have yet to travel the world as I'd like, it is one of my great desires. I've enjoyed trips throughout the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, and the Caymans. Europe excites me and I look to that in the future. Although currently teaching, I don't see myself retiring out of the profession. I have a book in the works and plan on venturing into a career in motivational speaking when it is finished.
I am happy...down to earth....love life...enjoy meeting new people...and adore my friends and family. I am honest and trusting and don't play games. I am blessed to be Mom to two teenage boys who live with me half time. I have been legally separated for 3 years and thankfully, don't carry around a lot of baggage. I truly feel that I've never been better and am excited to embark upon the future. I've learned what is precious in life and I am ready to meet that special someone to share it with. I'm not high maintenance and respect my partner's hobbies and interests outside of our relationship. I also love however, the thought of once again having that someone with whom I can spend special moments...sit on a dock in silence, entwined in each others' arms, travel and learn from, laugh with and play fight, take walks holding hands, watch a good movie, entertain friends, dine and explore new places, lie on a blanket under a shady tree in summer and throw snowballs at in the winter.
I recognize that there are many facets to a relationship and each of these contributes to a perfect match, but wow I must say that I truly appreciate someone who communicates well! Chemistry? Well it takes care of itself... Best friends and passionate lovers are what's only natural, when everything comes together.
