My friends would describe me as motivated, responsible, laid back and easy going. I like to try new things and have fun, but I take the important things (family, career, etc.) seriously. I work as a consultant in the green energy industry, I love my job but I'm not a workaholic. I am continually upgrading my skills and knowledge to stay on top of my game. There is always something new to learn.
I'm originally from Brampton, I went to Ottawa for University. I have since settled down in Georgetown, which seems to be a good balance of what I'm looking for. Close to the country, far enough away from the big city, not too far to go and visit though. I Iike to make time for my friends, family and hobbies, which include skiing, jogging and playing baseball.
I love to travel, I have been through the states, including Alaska, although I prefer to travel across Canada, the East coast being my favorite destination.
In the summer I like spending time at the cottage, watersports and generally any activity that makes good use of nice weather while it's here. I'm the kind of guy who likes to take the back roads and wander off the beaten path. I would much rather take a bit of extra time and discover a new place rather than try to beat some sort of imaginary clock. It's all about the journey!
I have my own tastes in music, movies and entertainment, but I am very open minded and there are few things that I would say I dislike.
I am family oriented, and see my siblings on a regular basis, although I make a point of being independent and doing my own thing.
I would like to meet someone who has at least some similar interests, likes to have fun and knows what they want in life.
