Hi I'm a single guy who has been on his own for almost 4 years. I have a beautiful daughter who is in her second year at Lakehead University. She is living with me for the summer.
I live a good life with no shortage of fun and excitement. I work at a good job that I like with the only downside is that it involves shift work at times.
In the fall and winter I try to work out at the Y two or three times a week but, once spring and summer come the closest I get is when I drive by it to and from work.Since I live only a block and a half from the lake I do try and go for a couple of long walks on the Boardwalk a couple of times a week.I was in the golf business for 25 years so I used to play a lot of golf but, in the last couple of years I have gotten away from it but now feel like starting to play again.
I spend a lot of time with my good friends (who are all in relationships) but, sometimes I feel that I need to do something new and different with somebody else.
When at home I always have music playing, with over 9000 songs of all kinds on my iPod I just put it on shuffle and let it play. This makes for some interesting musical segues as sometimes the types of songs do not really match. Ever since I was in high school I have attended concerts and over the years have seen a lot of the most popular acts along with others that were not quite as famous but were really good. I would love to have some one to go with me as my friends now will very rarely go with me and it is not much fun going by myself. I don't watch a lot of tv but normally have it on in the background tuned to CNN or sports with the volume down. I do however love Modern Family.
I'm not a great believer in that two people have to have the exact same interests to be compatible. I think its fun to be with someone and end up doing things that you never thought you would do.
I am comfortable in my own skin and not afraid to expose any flaws that I may have. I am an honest, caring, one woman man who believes in doing what he says he is going to do.
If I'm lucky enough to meet someone here I'm hoping for someone that can balance the small town with the big city, be equally comfortable with a backyard barbecue or classy dinner in a good restaurant.
P.S. I'm even more than willing to sit and watch a chick flick on a Saturday night.
