But through it all, I'm proud to say I survived and learned so much about myself. I am an easy going person with a sense of humor that sometimes gets me in trouble. I used to be so involved in sports, and then kids came along. I am hoping to get back there into running and maybe a triathlon, if my body allows. I enjoy swimming, golf, tennis, squash and watch most sports. I love the sun, the ocean and sandy beaches. Well I'm trying, but I keep running into stupid setbacks, like, responsibility, and reality. This being an adult really bites sometimes!
Over the years I have developed extensive skills in multiple trades and certified in one. As a result I am skillful with my hands. This talent was the basis of me becoming a tech teacher and owning a 120 year old house,... there's ALWAYS something to fix.
I work in Waterloo and live in Grimsby, so, as you can easily establish, I am very open to a greater distance to meet the right woman than many males might be.
I enjoy the release a workout gives me, so as a result, I like to to train at the gym a min of 3x/week and up to 6, though that option is rare. Ironically, I hate cardio. Bores me to tears.
I love old homes,going to yard sales, auctions and used stuff stores to find diamonds in the rough. I don't always enjoy live theatre but I do like to go to the movies (mostly for the popcorn).
