I enjoy many things in life and am pretty easy going. I prefer country living but for now am in the city. I would like to meet someone who enjoys country life as well - you don't have to live there just enjoy it.
I like having friends out for a bbq, drinks and conversation. I also like nights where I lay on the couch watching a movie by the fire with someone special. I don't mind watching sports (football and hockey) but am not an avid sports buff. I enjoy heading up to a cottage and chilling for a weekend or longer haha. I listen mostly to country music unless the kids get ahold of the radio. Then I will listen to their new stuff haha.
What makes me smile....lots of things! I am a happy person by nature. Hauling bear chairs into the river at the cottage and enjoying some adult "pop" on a beautiful day is heaven to me! I smile at my kids, sunsets on the way home (yes ...I actually stop and take it in sometimes), a text telling me I was just thought of (I know I can be sappy but rest assured I am not a chick flick kinda girl - if you like em I will sit through them though .. maybe haha). I like hiking and do like to go fishing when at the cottage sometimes (I bait my own hook and take the fish off myself but I am not an "avid" fisherman).
I am very proud of my accomplishments and have a good position in a company and have been there 5 years. I am not a workaholic by any means and enjoy my home time. I would like the person who I am with to have a stable job and be a partner to me. Also it is important that they know what they want out of a relationship. If you are just out of a relationship and are not sure what you want then I am probably not right for you. I don't expect an instant relationship but want to build towards one with the right person. I am looking for someone eventually long term if things work out. I am not looking for a serial dater. I am faithful and don't want to have to worry about that aspect. Life gets busy for us all and that is understandable but it is the "wanting" to spend time that makes the difference even at times where it isn't possible.
I do have two kids age 10 and 12 and at that age they tend to amuse themselves a lot these days. I have them through the week usually but their dad has them regularly as well. I don't have "drama" in my life. I get along well with my ex and his girlfriend and tend to take things as they come. I am pretty understanding and know that not everyone can say they have things as settled as I do so don't let that scare you off. If you have issues I am fine with that because it is about how you handle your issues and deal with them that matters.
I am confident in me. I have curves and bumps and am proud of every one as you can see by my pictures. I will always pick a beer or glass of wine and chilling with a friend in a pub over a celery stick and a phone call haha ... unless the celery is in my ceasar and we are on a patio ...wow...I ran with that one a bit didn't I!
