A hobby that I have enjoyed for many years is musical theatre. I have been in 20 musicals onstage and have worked backstage in at least as many. It has given me the opportunity to “be” many different characters, to meet all sorts of people, and to work together toward a big goal. I also enjoy attending the theatre (but I will admit it’s difficult not to try to figure out how they get certain effects).

My children, at 15 & 19, are fairly independent beings. They are very much into music & drama which meant a fair bit of driving until the elder got her driving licence. She is now in University, and IРІР‚в„ўm back in the driverРІР‚в„ўs seat, but only for a few months longer as my son frequently reminds me.
As regards animals I share space with 2 cats. Ostensibly they belong to my children, but I donРІР‚в„ўt think they (the cats, not the children) realize that. I am afraid of dogs, at least the big, barky sort; the small yappies are not scary to me. Tropical fish donРІР‚в„ўt bother me at all.
I am one of the (apparently) few women who is not particularly interested in shoes. I know - amazing.

I am not a big city person but once in a while is OK. I prefer local theater and concerts events. Enjoying time with friends or family is very important to me. I am the type of person who enjoys a variety of activities amongst quiet weekends/evenings as well. One weekend I could be playing Red Neck horseshoes at a backyard barbecue and the next time dressing up for a night out or just staying home to watch a movie.
I am looking to date to eventually find someone that I would like to spend the rest of my life with. If you are someone who likes to receive and give affection every day, at any moment than I may be your girl. My friends say I am genuine, fun, courageous, have a good sense of humor and I always look for the best people. Some also say I am very organized but they haven't seen inside my closets.
