Date women from Canada / Ontario / Guelph, 62 year old

Date a woman from Canada. This is a must to know. I have MS. I don't use any aids ie: wheeler chairs, walkers, braces nothing. I can' run, jump or do power walking. Walking distance would be a problem ie: 1-2 ki. Although I do exercise they have been modified to suit me. Anyone who decides that getting to know me would have to realize that this condition not only affects their life but the lives of those around him. Don't count me out. I am strong enough to handle this and if you are then please read on.
I have been a widow for five years. I worked for 38 years in the nursing profession and retired a year ago.

From the moment the weather warms, you will find me out in the garden getting my hands dirty or sprucing up the yard. After the work is done I like to kick off my wellys (rubber boots), sit on the patio and enjoy a glass of wine or whatever I’m not too tired to pour. I would love to have someone pour that wonderful drink for me. It is totally relaxing for me to put a fire in the chimerea, have music playing in the background and enjoy the stars. I listen to a wide variety of music but lean toward “The Oldies” early rock and roll.
I do like to spend weekends bumming around at flea markets, yard sales or just visiting small towns and villages within a short drive. An ice cream cone is one of the things I like most about these short outings.

IРІР‚в„ўm not adverse to going farther afield either. I have travelled almost coast to coast across Canada and look forward to completing the journey with a trip to the Maritime Provinces. I am a seafood lover after all.
Camping is also a good way to enjoy oneself. I do love a mess of fresh caught fish, perch or bass being my favorite. I have scaled many a fish in my day but my filleting leaves a lot to be desired. As much as I enjoy moose meat and venison if it is cooked right, I have to say I would have trouble looking into some animals cute little eyes before I shot it. I would have to leave that part to someone else. Not to mention the skinning and cleaning part of it. And, along with that I do so appreciate having it cooked for me. I would do the vegetables, salad and even the desert.
My daughter who is in the forces is trying to make me into a thrill seeker. She has forced me to go on an extreme hummer ride and up in a griffon helicopter. I wonРІР‚в„ўt let her know how much I enjoyed both. Zip lining is on her to-do list and I have to really question that one. I think she is trying to kill me for my money. Even my grandson is on my side and saying that itРІР‚в„ўs a no no. LOL
Family is very important to me. IРІР‚в„ўm very lucky to still have my parents who love to come and do things for me now that I am on my own. Holiday seasons are for decorating and enjoying the company of family and friends.
I have been told that I am a strong person and that I am funny but I donРІР‚в„ўt really think so. I think IРІР‚в„ўm the type of person that likes to keep both feet on the ground. I tend to rely heavily only on me. To find a special person that would share a shoulder to rely on or a shoulder to cry on would be great.
I am strictly a Canadian girl. I am not looking for anyone outside of Ontario Canada thank you.

Meet someone special from Canada. I am looking for a kind hearted man with a well developed sense of humor, who appreciates life and is not afraid to try new things, foods, travel, sports. I enjoy being part of couple and the intimacy of a relationship which makes you smile and tingle when you meet! Sharing simple pleasures such as nature, talking over coffee in the morning, watching the Canada geese on the pond, cocktails on the deck. a hot bubble bath before bed and a beautiful sunrise cannot be beat.
Staying in shape is important to me because I have a rigorous schedule but also because I love sports, gardening and keeping up with my 2 daughters and their families.
My friends are an eclectic group and when we get together there is always much laughter.
My most impressive accomplishment is definitely the parenting of my 2 daughters who I see often. They make me proud! Next to that is the co founding of Hospice of London, helping people who are dying at home.
I try to laugh loudest at myself, but honestly I sometimes laugh when I shouldn't.
I smile a lot, a personal signature. My friends and famly know that I smile at everyone, whether I know them or not. I usually get one back! So here's one going out to you :)
