Meet a soulmate from Canada. Hoping to meet someone I enjoy spending time with. I have a laid back attitude and frequently see the funny side of things...even when other people can't. My life is very quiet currently due to an accident ....spend alot of time watching TV and playing computer games. Shoud be able to drive again in the next couple of weeks so am getting excited to be out and about.

It was the coldest winter ever and many animals were dying because of the cold. The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm. This way they covered and protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions. After awhile, they decided to distance themselves one from the other and they began to die, alone and frozen. So they had to make a choice: either accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the Earth. Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. They learned to live with the little wounds caused by the close relationship with their companions in order to receive the warmth that came from the others. This way they were able to survive. Moral of the story: The best relationship is not the one that brings together perfect people, but when each individual learns to live with the imperfections of others and can admire the other person's good qualities.
I think this is the basis for a genuine relationship, but it's not that simple, is it? We have expectations, we set standards, there are things that draw us to another - for example, I admire a man who is kind and gentle with his word and his actions. I appreciate the door being opened for me - I do. If there is something wrong, I want to know about it - we shouldn't keep important things to ourselves. I want an open, sharing relationship - I want to be able to talk about anything and work on a relationship that we both desire and respect. And, I want to travel - it makes me very happy. Laughter is a must and, I love surprises (and, giving them!) There has to be chemistry and passion - sometimes it's there & sometimes, no matter how much we want it to be, it's not. I could go on and on, but, I'll stop here.
