I like to say I live a balanced life between being active and enjoying the outdoors and finding time to relax with a movie or some tv. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and getting out to enjoy a good dinner, socialize and dance (yes..I can dance!). I have two awesome boys that take up most of my time outside of work, I do everything with them.
I believe my friends would say I am loyal, caring and just happy go lucky with a great sense of humor. I am always smiling and enjoy making people laugh. Laughing is definitely my stress relief. I enjoy trying new things and experiencing all I can in this life but I must say I am not a planner more last minute or spontaneous. I am looking for someone who has similar interests and someone who has a good level of independence who will push me as much as I will push them! lol.
Some more things about me.....i enjoy keeping active, I play coed slow pitch in the summer and hockey in the winter. Recently took up ski'n which I really enjoy (did my first trip to Quebec this year so I think BC is next). I notice a lot of people on this site enjoy going to the gym, while I think that's great I have always had a hard time keeping up with it and don't really see the need (love my little beer belly) but would enjoy someone who could buff me up a little, lol. I like to get away camping, biking and cottage life. My boys have taken up fishing so I guess I need to do that too. I am always up to trying new things...having fun is key for me!. Some friends and I are looking at planning a cruise for this winter, my goal is to go far away at least once a year!
I have a good government job that keeps me close to home and allows me to spend lots of quality time with my boys. I don't shy away from big family outings with my kids, although I haven't put them on a plane yet...they are at the age now where I think Disney World may be in order this year (would be nice to find someone who would be interested in joining us!)

Traveling is something I've done a lot of but now prefer to wait until I have someone to share those memories with. So far I've been to Paris, France; Mexico City, Mexico; Punta Cana, DR; most of Canada and the USA and lived in Curitiba Brazil for over a year doing volunteer work.

Of all the girlfriends I have ever had, none of the relationships had any anger or bad feelings, and there isn't one that I don't still keep in touchg with...Hope that doesn't scare you away, but once I've made a friend and we click on some level I will always value my unique commraderie
