For myself, I am very much a family person. I have great relationship with my 2 children and I have very close relationship with my mom and family. Obviously like most on this site, I just miss that special someone to share my life with. So to potentially save you some reading I am a practicing Christian (so I am looking for the same, someone that is practicing their faith).
If you are still interested, I do love nature and am very excited about gardening (although if it doesn't rain soon in it is going to be hard to keep any garden going). It also allows me to tuck away the treadmill and do my walking outside instead of inside and maybe break out the bike. It will also hopefully give me a chance to get into extra photography that I have been hoping to take up as a hobby.
As for me I am a hard worker , dependable, reliable, and honest and have learned the hard way as much as you try to help other people at the end of the day it is their decision. So advice is a wonderful thing if you’re providing it to yourself and doing something about it and not necessarily the other way around ;-). I am generally pretty handy as I have done a lot of interior decorating and house repairs(yes I do finish them and they don't hang around for years !!). My son is working as a cook and he has got me back into cooking again as well.
As for the person I am hoping to meet, I hope they are little out going as I am a little laid back and quiet, so it usually takes me a little while to warm up. I hope the person understands the process of forgiveness and is ready to move forward positively and is a positive person.
So as per my heading, at this stage of my life I am hoping “invest” time with someone and hopefully work towards common goals and interests. I actually closed my account for 2 months and did some renovation therapy before deciding to try this again. So hopefully with the few weeks left.

I've done a lot in my life to this point. I feel that there is a lot I still want to do. For some reason, unknown to me, I don't seem to have someone to share in what it is that I want to do. I'm no literacy scholar and I'm not incredibly rich but I do have a passion unbridled thus far. I'm looking for someone who can appreciate the qualities that I possess and what most of you seem to look for. Yes, I have long hair and that's because I don't work in a fancy office and under the pressures of being like the Johnson's of the world. No offence to any of the Johnson's if this is a relative name. I am my own person and I have a passion for life. I've given so much to people and I've expected nothing in return. How much does one have to give for some one to realize that the person giving is worth being given a chance in return. I open doors for people. I say hello to those that I feel need acknowledgement. I talk to perfect strangers like human beings. I listen to anyone that needs to get something off there chest. We all need to be heard but I seem to spend most of my time listening. I'm not simple by any means but I'm a person who cares about others and I stand up for people who can't stand up for themselves. I love kids because of how much they can teach me. It's amazing how many of them don't have someone that truly listens to their ideas and concerns especially with all the crap they are being bombarded with these days. I'm a court jester most of the time because I choose to be and I find humour in just about any kind of situation. So with that said, if I find your funny bone, be prepared to be entertained for a very long time. My passionate nature is well defined through almost everything I say and do. We are only here once, I think, so lets move on and enjoy one another.

I enjoy being physically active. I frequently run on forest trails, cycle on country roads, and swim in nearby quarries. I also like to climb trees, cross rivers on fallen logs, and look for places where a tree house could be built. If slipping and sliding up muddy, leaf-covered slopes or getting a soaker in a cold river sounds fun to you we might have a reason to spend an afternoon together.
Most personality-typologies, for what they are worth, would peg me as an introvert. Although I like to have lots of time alone to read, work, think, and putter, I also enjoy having lots of friends around me.
If you can see yourself cuddling with me to read a book or watch a documentary movie; or, on the other hand, joining me, and up to fifteen other people, for the Sunday brunches at which I serve my famous and yummy glutten-free pancakes we might get along quite well.
