I am a simple guy with a bit of a sarcastic wit about him, but with enough experience to reign it in as well when needed. My oath is to do no harm, and I sincerely try to live by that. I can have strong opinions, but always encourage others chime in with theirs and try to see both sides. Life experience has granted me enough honesty and humility to say I won't always play well with others, but at least I will try.
I am sometimes shy, which can come off the wrong way, which is a shame, really.
Spending time with friends and family is important. They mean the world to me. However, I enjoy my private time as well... a little me time to paddle the lake, or ski a few runs, or hike a bit into the woods. Not to get away from anyone or anything, but simply time for appreciation and introspection. To stare at the lake without a thought sometimes... :)
I enjoy swimming in the lake, followed by a nice BBQ. Sitting by the fire, telling stories with good friends and savouring the outdoors (and maybe a nice wine!).
I am up for most activities... I miss my BC skiing, but generally have no trouble finding other activities. Most for the simple joy of doing them and rarely for competition, but sometimes that edge returns!
Yes, the location states Lindsay, but I am also in Toronto lots, am currently in N. Ont for a bit, and am open to a potential move in the near future. (I'll explain if we get to that point). My job and life at this moment enables me to go places, and possibly take on a new adventure... to where and with who is yet to be determined.
Why?.... heck... why not... Life is for the living!
