It seems that this current generation has not produced many men. There are countless boys, however. Although chivalry may seem like a lost art, I assure you that I am a gentleman who adheres to the qualities that separates men from boys.
I am at my best when given the opportunity to treat someone respectfully. Simple things such as opening the door, or taking her hand or arm in arm as we walk; reciprocal communication and being comfortable to express oneself on any subject.
I play guitar and dabble with other instruments and forever aspiring to be a great (more like competent) jazz player - there's still hope! I also love the BEATLES so if you do too we can have a sing-a-long... Love love me do... :)
I love to cook. No - not just spaghetti sauce. I'm somewhat famous( family and friends anyway) for my mussels and seafood. I can whip up a midnight pasta in about 20 mins! I never eat fast food and wary of even the finest restaurants. There's nothing worse than eating at a "fine dining" establishment and finding that I could have done better myself! I do love the ambiance of a great restaurant but lately I find that there are an abundance of fine "diners".
I love Stratford and have been three times this season already. Looking forward to Much Ado later this summer. Anyone want to go?
Live music, opera, theatre, film ( NOT movies e.g. Hollywood blockbusters ) art exhibits etc. Anything really that promotes human endeavour which soothes the soul and tickles the neurotransmitters...
Niagara-On-The-Lake and wine tastings are fun as well - I generally will go about twice a year; usually on a bike tour. Alcohol is ok but I don't enjoy being around people that indulge on a regular basis - you know shooters and getting all wasted.
I hope this doesn't come off as sexist but I must admit that I am attracted to femininity and slenderness in a woman. I am not a big hunk so to speak so if you can't fit into a size 7 glass slipper... . I also have an aversion for tattoos. One is ok (we all make mistakes) but two or more - please don't consider me.
Healthy eating and being active are important. I enjoy cycling, hiking, tennis. golf. I also enjoy photography... I should - I teach it!
