I do love dogs, they are one of the greatest joys in life. I do believe they really are the best friends you can find in life. I am grateful for both my family and friends. My sister has been a constant in my life and always supported me, which also make her my friend. Some of my colleagues have also become my closest friends. We have travelled to the Caribbean together and survived!

Where does one start? Well I've started over in my career and have gone back to school fulltime in the law field, and absolutely love the experiences, I've never been one to be scared of changes, always been more excited to mix it up or travel down a new path. I'm a very optimistic person who can see the humour or good in most situations..think it's referred to as dealing with life which is never predictable, thank god!
I'm just checking things out and seeing what/who's out there that isn't in my normal circle. I have no checklist that you must pass, no hidden agenda's, just hopefully meet someone that is optimistic, happy with their life and can keep me laughing:)
It would be great if you were confident, not cocky, got your life together and have a great sense of humour.
Not a fan of ignorance, rudeness or people that prefer quantity over quality, or people that are materialistic. Yes be proud of what you've worked hard for, but a nice car doesn't make you who you are lol so pics of your cars (even thou I love cars) won't get my attention.

But I also had to ask myself... What do I have to lose ?. I'm looking for a good hearted man with a great sense of humor. I'm an easy going woman and I try to keep an open mind when it comes to lifes situations and dilema's. With that said, I'm also looking to possibly meet my life partner. I am a religious person although I currently do not attend a church. I am also with the beleif that there is always room for new friends. I am grateful for the small blessings in my life. I've done some fun things in my life, spent 8 months in India - took sitar lessons, yoga teacher's training, rode on bus tops and rented scooters, went paragliding in Slovenia, use to be in a band. I've also lived many years in Holland, where half my family lives. As a result of globe trotting and recently returning to Canada I've lived pretty minimal - meaning I don't own a house, have a car, kids or some other things people my age might have. If materialism is extremely important to you then I might not be your cup of tea. I do like children and would be open to having one with the right man someday, and I am also able to just as easily enjoy other people's kids.
I like eastern philosophies, and am relatively open minded. I think life is what you make it, so that's why I'm here, to attract nice, compatible man.
