I'm very independent. I won't take a thing I haven't earned, so I don't give a damn about how much money anybody else makes. I can take care of myself and I like it that way. I'm the least material person you're liable to meet. Material concerns don't even register on my radar. It's just STUFF. Stuff doesn't matter.

I don't believe any relationship can "complete" you. I think it can add to your life experience, but if you're looking for it to define you, then something's definitely wrong.

I usually start off by saying that I am a cynic by nature. A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that makes me negative, but I'm not. I am actually a hopeful person who looks at life with a very healthy dose of reality. I think that my best trait is my sense of humour. I have, however, learned that not everyone gets my sense of humour. :)
As for my taste in music, I can tell you what I don't like. I try to be open minded (about most things actually) but I can't stand country, opera or rap. I prefer the usual rock, pop, alternative but even in those genres there is stuff I don't enjoy. The rest of music, I can tolerate. I think that covers music...
Oh, and I almost forgot, I am VERY independent, some might say to a fault.
So to sum up, realist, open minded, excellent taste in music, independent, and an excellent sense of humour.

What makes me smile? A person with a great sense of humour! Sometimes when I'm teaching, I get into this zone and can't even believe how witty I can be. Most of the time though, I'm usually the one letting others tell the jokes so that I can laugh until I burst. A belly laugh is one of the most incredible things!
I am extremely grateful for my health, the health of my children (18 and 15), my family, friends, and all the opportunities I have to try new things. I like to try to see the positive in things if I can as it seems to make life so much easier.
