. I'm an artist, a writer and a bit of a dreamer. I am blessed with the immense joy of seeing my visions become reality everyday in my work life. I like to believe I am also the creator of my personal life... even if that means making the best of whatever life hands me and turning those found objects into my own personal masterpiece.
My time is split between southern Ontario, where I have a home base, and Toronto, where I often find myself spending a few days at a time for business and family. Access to a downtown loft means I'm able to work from there too and I enjoy the urban-rural duality my life affords. And when that gets tedious, I enjoy the freedom I now have to travel frequently for both business and pleasure. NewYork, Paris and Asia are frequent destinations; Africa, Latin & South America, and other parts of Europe, including Italy, are on my personal bucket list.
Sometimes I feel a bit out of sync with the practical world around me even though I have worked in the hyper-business world far more than many of my creative kindred. Whether in the drawing studio or corporate boardroom, I enjoy a free exchange of ideas and challenging the status quo.
Sometimes the rebel in me can't resist wearing converse sneakers (Chuck Taylors that is... without laces) to a dinner meeting with lawyers and academics or on the other hand being the only artist in the room not ashamed of drawing digital Mickey Mouse illustrations for the pay cheque from time to time. On the other hand, I have no objection to slipping on a pair of heels when it suits the occasion.
I'm lucky that the practical side of my life has always balanced itself out sooner or later, one way or another, and afforded me the pleasure of continuing my creative adventures and exploring personal passions.
Life has not always been easy; in fact I've experienced both intensely positive and deeply tragic moments, but that is life and I have learned to truly treasure and cultivate a simple, peaceful, drama-free existence as a result.
Personal experience has also taught me to passionately embrace life and all the colours in its palette: stimulating conversation, innovative cuisine, exploring new places and new ideas... Life is that much more memorable when sharing these pleasures with an equally appreciative partner.

Summer is my favorite season and there is nothing better then a hot summer day by the pool with a few cold drinks, bar-b-que and lot's of laughs! A nice way to wind down from the work week.

I'm not a big clubber but an afternoon or evening on on patio bar is something I like to do.
I love traveling to the sunny south during our winter for some R&R. Punta Cana is a favorite for me. Love the long white sandy beach, perfect for a walk.

I seem to have a talent at collecting useless trivia, can repair broken sunglasses with a diamond ear ring, tuck and roll when I find myself flying through the air, I build, I fix, I garden and cook; in a dress or in work boots which ever is practical and look pretty good in both.
I love to travel, and look forward to seeing more of this big world of ours, but would like to do it with someone for a change.
