I am not the type of person who would just jump into this site. I am the type of person who eases into it. I thought that it might be an interesting way to meet someone so I signed on. I read a few profiles and learned a little about how to navigate and now I am writing my intro and I am ready to introduce myself! It is really not as scary as I thought it might be!
The biggest joy in my life has been being a mother. My children and my family are very important to me. Although I do have 2 grown children who have left the nest I do still have one that is at home with me full time and I am very open to a man who still has children in his care.
I have a great job that offers me flexible hours and a little travel. I have worked hard for the life that I have and like to enjoy the "my time". I very much like to travel and on my bucket list it is written “LEARN SPANISH!!!”. I’d really like to start this task soon as I want to travel to the islands again when the snow flies and it would be very handy to be able to speak a little of the language. A word or two only gets you so far!
I like good food, good wine (red), great conversation and a night of dancing and fun!!! I realize that I canРІР‚в„ўt have all of them every day but a girl can dream ;)
Not only do I love to garden, cook and entertain but I love fishing for perch on Lake Erie, I can work a lawn mower, a weed wacker and a chainsaw and never believed anyone when they said "You can't do that! You're a girl!"
What I am looking for...
The qualities that admire in a man are kindness and compassion, a love of travel, a love of music no matter what genre, an open mind and heart, a willingness to express, smile, laugh, sing, dance...and a gentle touch. I would offer each of these qualities in return.
I came onto this site because I know of people who have met successfully online and I believe that it can work. That being said I must stress right from the start that I am absolutely not looking for a "long distance relationship". If you are out of province or live outside of Canada then I am very sorry, I will not respond. Perhaps you may think that I am limiting my choices yet I know that my life is here. My children are here and my friends are here and I am not willing to uproot to go great distances.
