Well I don't know where to start so....
My kids and family live out of town but they are still a top priority in my life. I am comfortable in a little black dress as well as my jeans. There is a time and place for both.
I like to cook for or with that special someone. I'm a great baker and really enjoy it.
I like a good laugh and I can laugh at myself. Life can't be serious all the time. I enjoy a wide variety music soft rock and country....just not rap.
I haven't travelled much recently but look forward to travelling again. I have been to France, Monte Carlo, Holland, Poland and Florida. Still looking forward to doing an all inclusive hot spot like the Dominican. I enjoy dining out,concerts, going for romantic walks, playing cards, being the passenger on a motorcycle just to name a few things. I enjoy movies-comedy, romance, drama, action, thriller-on the couch so we can cuddle:). There is nothing better on cold winter nights than cuddling in front of a roaring fire. I have a big family - 4 older sisters and one younger brother. According to our older sisters, my brother and I were spoiled!
My Dad owned a RV dealership and always had a truck, hence my love for trucks! All my sisters drive one! - another one of my quirks - randomness!
My parents bought property with 110 acres that had a pond and a creek running through it. My brother and I had so much fun rafting on the overflowing creek in the spring and playing hockey on the pond in the winter. My parents, also, built a big house for all us kids and a barn for my Dad's race horses. We had all kinds of animals, so I like most animals!
I have had many ups and downs in my life and have learned a lot from them. Laughing about things really got me through the hard times. The hard times have made me so appreciative of the wonderful things that have happened and are in my life. Such as my two kids, my five siblings and their families, my parents, and my friends. I like guys that are easy going, I find you can tell alot about a person when things go wrong and how they solve and respond to conflict, problems, arguments. I also want somebody who is honest and not into games I really do not have time for that kind of relationship. I like to be able to trust my partner completely and he knows he can also trust me. At this age I think relationships should be easy fun and you enjoy spending time together or doing activities without alot of conflict or problem.
One thing I do not like is when people totally trash their ex. The way I look at it is you once loved that person unfortunately it did not work out but you are big enough give them the respect they deserve. I find it also shows you how well they handle conflicts, and can compromise since marriage is alot of compromising you can not have it your way all the time you do have to put your partner first at times.
I have also gotten into learning about the problems with our environment and animals.. We have some serious problems and I am not sure if they can be fixed to the point it should be anymore since I find most people are motivated by greed and not what is good for the planet in years to come. Usually if it is more expensive to do it the right way businesses will do it the cheap way and do not care how it affects our planet and future generations.
