I enjoy several activities including curling,cycling, keeping fit, travel, theatre, art, movies, music and volunteering . I have recently taken up dragonboat paddling. Growing up in a military family nurtured the travel bug in me and I have lived all over Canada and travelled in Russia, Southeast Asia (China, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea) Italy, France, England, U.S., Australia and Germany. I love exploring new places and soaking up the local culture. There are still many countries on my bucket list.

I quit smoking two years ago, so needless to say have put on weight and have been unable to lose it. I also have limitations walking and with endurance. I love watching T.V shows; i.e. CSI, NCIS, Mentalist, Person of Interest, Grey's Anatomy, Castle, the Good Wife, etc. One of my favorites is HGTV. I also like doing jigsaw puzzles, mostly on the computer. Love palm trees and other trees; architecture, old and new and going up to my friend's cottage.
If you are into fitness; long legged, trim women; who like to partying; long walks or hiking I am not for you (unfortunately those days are gone for me).
