I've been London for almost two years now, great place and would love to share it with someone. I'm a very easy going guy, quirky, loyal, and something else, all depends on who you ask. I grew up in a small town in BC, and definitely bring a lot of that with me. I love golf and I love skiing, unfortunately without the Rockies nearby any more skiing is out so I'm looking for a winter replacement, any ideas?
My ideal girl would be quick with the laughter, honest, and comfortable with being herself. I've adopted a healthy lifestyle recently, dropped 70 pounds (and counting), so someone with the same values would be great.

I guess would say that I’m a regular guy that likes to stay active. I like to stay in decent shape by working out and I’m currently training to run a half marathon in May. I like to train with some goal in mind as it makes it easier for me to get to the gym. This summer I signed up for the Muskoka 70.3 half ironman. It should be a lot of fun. This may be tough as my swimming is weak to very weak. I also enjoy skiing. I try to plan one long trip and a few shorter ones throughout the winter. Nothing better than a drink at the top of a mountain.

. I remember what dating was once uopn a time, what it was supposed to be. When I would feel nervous knocking on the door with flowers waiting for someone to answer. The feeling I would get when she came into view for the firstt time with a shy smile on her lips. The conversation, the playfulness and the wit. The fun of the evening.

Well I lke to go to the club, the pub or just sitting on the couch watching the leafs or the jays win. I like to make people laugh and i'm willing to complety embarass myself in order to do so. That being said I do have a serious, kind side and im there for friends and family when they need me. I like to cook and bake and i know my way around the garden.
I love listening to music and listen to just about everything except country but I can handle it.

Activities with a partner include watching a movie, having good discussions over coffee, dinner, pint, etc, go for nice walk through a scenic neighbourhood (Guelph has lots), hiking.
Right now I am at position where I will have to find a career in a year or so. I am not sure if I will go into research/academia, private industry or something completely different. This is somewhat daunting yet really exciting too!
Hobbies/interests: probably too many. Play drums and currently in a band playing in cities close by and far. I like many kinds of music like electronic house/drum and bass, bebop jazz, reggae, African rhythms, Brazilian rhythms, rock (of course) and metal. But probably not pop country or gangster rap.
I jog, cycle, do hot yoga and other exercises. Its good to change it up. Yoga balls are fun.
I am a pretty big science geek. I have been studying my discipline for around ten years and I like to read chemistry, physics, math, programming, psychology and go on Wikipedia adventures. Favourite book that i recently read was "This is your brain on music".
I am pretty social too. I go to the pub/bar once a week for drinks and music. Live bands are always great.
Things I recently discovered are camping in a tent, outdoor music fests, snowboarding and yoga.

Well, I am an honest down to earth guy who values family and friends. I have a great and some would say 'interesting' sense of humor; I tend to find the humor in just about anything. That being said, I like to make people laugh. But when it's time for seriousness, I will be serious. My taste of music is all over the place. my favourite genre is movie soundtracks and scores. Next on the list is rock/alternative. But I also like everything from dance to some hip hop.
I am currently working in the family business where we manufacture roof trusses (framing of a roof), stairs and supply lumber. I am also a freelance graphic designer which keeps me busy and out of trouble once in a while. When I am not at the office or at my desk designing, you might catch me doing some writing on my book, reading watching a movie or show, having some fun with my friends or at my brother's playing with my niece!
