Meet single man from Canada. I might as well start with the fact that I am a full-time wheelchair bound person. I have my left leg amputated above the knee and my right leg is very weak. My upper body is fine and strong. This happened as the result of an accident in 1994. I like to live a healthy lifestyle with a well balanced diet and no junk food. I love my fairly new wheelchair accessible home. It is built in the rural area in the middle of a woodlot, but only 4 kilometers from town and only 20 minutes from London. Sometimes you wake up with deer on the lawn. I am a very independent optimistic, upbeat, loyal person, who pretty well never gets mad and is very patient. I can be serious, but most of the time I laugh at lot and can make people laugh too. I have one daughter and one son who live on their own, my son in Ontario and my daughter in England, both have a good job and I am very proud on them. I do not have any relatives in Canada. Most of them live in Europe. I live by myself, cook my own meals, do the laundry, and day to day cleaning, but get help to do the larger cleaning jobs. I like nature and ride the ATV trails as much as I can. I am very much attracted by the simpler life in the North for vacations in the summer, but love some time at a warmer place in the winter. I also like winter just as much as the summer. I do not mind travelling to other places in the world, but also like to explore Canada and the US. I prefer the smaller resorts and communities. My music interests are ranging from classical to hard rock. I like to attend a good concert and theatre plays. I do not know anymore how many life concerts I attended, but it ranges from AC-DC, Queen, Rolling Stones to a full blown classical music performance. I can dress myself any way you want and based on the occasion. I like to go out for dinner and pretty well try every type of food. When going away for short or longer times I can do both levels from no stars camping to 5 stars hotels. I have a lot of long-term friends, including farmers, other business people and regular people. We get together a lot and like the good food and drinks. Unfortunately I can not drink, but do not mind other people drinking. I am well educated (MBA) and volunteer a lot. I like to stay up to date with what is going on in the world and can not miss my morning paper. I have my own consulting company. Time left after working, volunteering and ATVing, I like to spend in my workshop woodworking, fixing things watching the learning channels or a good movie. I was born in Holland and visit my relatives, at least once a year. All in all, I am very independent, have a comfortable life style, have a corky wild streak, take day by day, do not take things too serious and enjoy life to the fullest and have fun doing it.
I am NOT looking for a care taker. I am looking for a person that prefers the country life over the big city. She should be independent, loyal, honest, optimistic, likes her work and has caring personality. If you like to cook that is fine, but I can pretty well look after most of the daily chores. Having any kids is great. I prefer them to live on their own and do their own, but I love to see all of us coming together from time to time. I am looking for friendship first and time will tell us where it goes from there.
