I am "unique" but you would never be able to tell through an email conversation.Never.
I am "unique" in my actions,my reactions,my tone of speech not on how i type words on a screen.Anyone can type anything into a keyboard and say it is gospel.
I am an "in-person" type of person,not a faceless name behind a computer screen type of person.My personality and charisma can shine through in person.....but not in front a keyboard.

I'm a professional engineer, and a technical manager.
I like to sing and play guitar at clubs in my spare time. I've played in Toronto, Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Galt, Guelph, and most recently, Mississauga.
My goal in life now is to find someone to share adventures with, and hopefully trust my heart to.
I suppose I'm unique because I'm not a party animal -- and never have been. I take more time than most to trust people. I'm also a bit of a perfectionist and have trouble giving in to the internet style of writing without capital letters, or regard for punctuation and proper grammar.
I tend to listen to anything that's creative, but I mostly listen to and perform guitar rock songs from the '80s, or anything melodic and technical.
Date a soulmate from Mississauga, Canada. It has been only a few weeks on this website, but I am rewriting my profile in the hope of making it clearer what I am looking for and what I am about. Since none of my friends are single, it is hard to find a partner the old fashioned way. And what are we singles supposed to do? Go to a bar and hope someone will like us? Yeah..right..:) Stand on the corner of Yonge and Lakeshore saying, "Spare a heart?" Or have my super cute 5 year old son carry a sign at the baseball game saying, ?My daddy is very nice. Want to have a hot chocolate with us?" I work with people who are recovering from severe car accidents. It is my own little business that I have been running for over a decade. It doesn't make me millions of dollars, but I love my work because it lets me help people get back on their feet after near death experiences. Since I work with people who have brain injuries or psychological difficulties, I don?t get angry or impatient and I don?t have problems discussing anything and everything under the sun. I know that for many people there are topics which are ?taboo?, but not for me. Many people tell me that I read like an open book because I have nothing to hide and want only open and honest communication at all times. Earlier this year I decided to quit smoking, which also meant quitting coffee and alcohol. I have changed the way I eat and am exercising 6 times a week. I even started Zumba classes recently and realized that my hips were NOT built to wiggle like the instructor says I have to! I have made these changes as it was time to have the health and fitness level that I always wanted. Next month, I hope to run in the Mississauga Marathon. How far will I get? I don?t know, but I will give my best and no matter what the outcome, I will feel like a winner. Between work, gym, and spending time with my son, I don?t really have much time for dating. If the right lady comes along and it blossoms into a relationship, I will make sure to always make time for us.
Few random thoughts:
I can?t stand: deceitful, arrogant, rude, manipulative people, egomaniacs, narcissistic personalities, liars, femnazis, ( I think you get the picture ? ). Those who are emotionally abusive towards others can skip my profile.
I find myself attracted to smart and open minded women, who are talkative and naturally feminine, women who feel comfy in jeans but also feel like dressing up from time to time, can be serious when the situation requires or lighthearted if the mood and time calls for it. Someone who is fit and into health or working on it (this way we could motivate each other).
