I can turn up the volume on my drive home to some vintage Aerosmith or get lost in an Amy Winehouse song cooking supper. Warning/Alert - I sometimes sing when I am doing dishes or cleaning up in the kitchen only to hear my kids say "Dad pleeeeease!" Hey in my book a well stocked iPod is priceless. I work out regularly. Run mostly. I love to travel as much as the next person but in reality time and the loss of synergies due to separation limit me to 1 trip per year. I do have my own house albeit much smaller and am legally separated. I tend to be drawn to the profiles of women that have a good smile. I don’t know it just seems revealing to me. Sometimes you will taste grapes, maybe like a Malbec or Cab since I certainly enjoy a good wine. Another time I may taste a little salty because I often enjoy sweaty activities .....like tennis, gym, cycling, swimming, Zip lining, rafting, etc. You certainly won’t taste smoke – unless I was making a BBQ. Over time there will be quite a variety of flavours like basil, garlic, ginger, curry, cumin since I like most foods and always enjoy experimenting with new foods. In fact I think cooking together can be quite a romantic event, making sure there some nice music, candles and plenty of wine – then it doesn’t matter so much if the meal did not turn out the best... and maybe it wouldn’t matter if the cooking finished. In the morning you surely will notice a satisfying taste of good coffee. I like to soak in new flavours from my travels... some special places include: Costa Rica, Rome, Paris, New York, Mexico, China, Moscow, Switzerland, and Toronto ( I live in Mississauga).

I have been on Match for about 12 months and unfortunately have not found a woman I could say that was "THE ONE"
I come from an Italian background however I have lived and worked in the Toronto/Mississauga area all my life. It's funny that in all these years however I have not dated an Italian woman...so I think that would be interesting to try sometime...but it doesn't mean that's the only type of woman I would be interested in! I jsut think at this stage of our lives if someone has a similar culture or heritage...it "might" be easier to strike up a connection...but who really knows...when it comes to a connection. All I know is that I have approached a number of Italian women here and their response was that they were no longer interested in any Italian males...since their previous relationships were bad! Well I guess I can understand that...BUT I am no ordinary Italian either...so they may have missed out! LOL! I think I have the passion of a typical Italian...but I am romantic and definately not a chauvanist...I love to cook, clean my own house and iron my own shirts!
One other item I must clear up...I wrote down my age at 49 as a lark...and now I can't seem to change it...I am actually 54...although I have been told that I look and act much younger and I definately feel better than when I was in my mid forties! I still play ball hockey with a bunch of my old High School buddies each Monday night...so I guess we are all trying to retain our youth!!

My favourite colour or hue is black and my favourite animal is the jaguar.
I also support Derby County Football Club even though i'm originally from London. I stay fit by playing Football(soccer), running, weights, playing racquet sports such as squash, tennis and table tennis. I also do stretch yoga and meditation.
I am fascinated by the world and all it's different cultures, am spiritual and have a thirst for knowledge. I have no time for people who are narrow minded and who stay in their "designated zone" so to speak. Life is an on going discovery.
