My family and friends are an important part of my life. I would do anything for them. A weekend away at a cottage with family and friends is one of my favourite summer activities! I also enjoy trying new restaurants, relaxing on a patio with friends with a cold drink, camping, fishing (I can put on my own worm and take off my own fish all by myself!) hiking, going downtown, going to Leafs and Raptors games and listening to live music. Not to worry boys, I will never ask you to take me to an opera or the ballet! ;) I can also be just as as happy staying in with a good book, watching a movie or playing a board game.
My two favourite T's are travelling and teaching. Sometimes I even get to combine the two. Ten months of the year I'm a French Immersion teacher. The other two months of the year I try to fit in as much travelling and sight seeing as I can. I spent the last two summers abroad in Europe teaching at summer camps in Italy and Switzerland. Now it's time to tackle a different continent! It's safe to say that I have caught the travelling bug and hope to find someone with the same passion for travelling. I have stood on top of the Eiffel Tower, watched the sunsets in Greece and stood on the peak of a mountain. I'm looking for someone to share these experiences and adventures with me.

Many who have just met me think I am a shy person since I am not overly loud or talkative with new people. This is not the case. I tend to observe and get a feel for others before I allow them to witness how incredibly awesome and crazy I can be! I'm the one who will grab your arm and make you dance with me, even if we are just walking down the street. I believe life should be a musical and will randomly burst into song. I laugh at everything, it doesn't take much to make me smile! And I believe people watching is just wonderful, especially with commentary.
I grew up in the country. As a kid, my idea of a great day was breakfast on the front porch, then running across farm fields hoping the cows wouldn't chase you, play some baseball, a trip to the general store, feed some chickens, and end the day laying on the grass staring at the stars. Now I live in the city. My breakfast is Starbucks and a fruit salad. I always look completely put together, my idea of casual dress is dark wash trouser denim and a satin blouse. I run across streets dodging traffic. And enjoy a glass of wine while out for a nice dinner. But I am still a country girl at heart, and have no problem walking through mud, digging in dirt, and laying in the grass, even if I am still wearing my suit and heals.
