I have a 9 year old daughter. She is a happy, wonderful little girl who enjoys singing, all kinds of crafts, friends and nature. Our favorite TV shows are iCarly, Good Luck Charlie and Phineas and Ferb!

I am a father of two teenage boys who now are beginning to lead their own lives leaving myself with some extra "me" or perhaps "we" time.
I am a child of the 70's and 80's - work hard, play harder and when it comes to downtime, I do a complete stop.
As far as I'm concerned, i have one of the best jobs ever. The only downside to it is that I travel a fair bit, but the upside is I am at home for big chunks of time.
I still love to compete. I play hockey year-round, golf when I can and am a part of a great group of friends that play mixed slo-pitch ball each week. It is a great social outlet.

From that list you may gather that I like rock, and it's true, but my musical interests don't lie just there. Have seen Fleetwood Mac, Tragically Hip, Tom petty to name a few...lots of genres.
I am a motorcycle enthusiast. I am not a biker or part of a club. I do have tattoos. None are visible in regular day-to-day activities. There are no barbed wire or asian symbols...they are original pieces of art that mean something only to me.
I am a terrible guitarist. But I love to play with my youngest son who is an excellent drummer And occasionally people who know what they are doing will let me join along and humour me. I have a long way to go on that.

My dog is awesome! He is a mix of Black Lab and Boxer. Great dog for kids and adults alike!
I can do dinner downtown before the theatre. I can bbq and sit around a fire having pints. I can do a quiet night sipping wine in the hot tub.
My ideal long weekend - May, Canada Day, August - is spent with as many as my friends and family that can get together. Bocce, horseshoes and a ton of laughs.
Life is good. I do not take it for granted. I am thankful everyday for what I have.

But, chemistry is not all, at least not for me. I value integrity, honesty, intelligence, self-respect and respect for others, ability to communicate with an open heart, passion in general is big on my "list", a wise young heart, random acts of kindness, strength in mind and body, ability to start anew, to see life's challenges as opportunities to learn about yourself first....
Being active is a lifestyle that I also like to maintain. I ran a half-marathon in 2010, and since then, running has been my number of workout preference. I am looking for like-minded people, who take care of their body and mind. I like to read books that challenge my own status quo while also teach me different ways to see life. I also like to challenge my own boundaries, and this summer I have decided to take the motorcycling course... I have always admired those who can take some risks in life, be it for enjoyment, for advancement in life, or for the need to change. As Nietzsche said: "The greatest risk in life is not taking one".
